  1. Yes! Really enjoyed that thanks, Im quite stoked someone made a video with the same philosophy I have about a road car. Why cant you have some thing that does all things well? Track / Road etc.

    Top Gear CSL

[nerd] @ 5:34 they spliced in m10 320 Turbo footage instead of CSL footage .. wonder how much 'mail' they got for that one [/nerd] And that version of the stig was a bit of an average driver compared to the ones of late. Would be good to see it again with a much smoother lap instead of this on off throttle rubbish.
  5. above are the blue digital switches ... Are us trying to use this on an E30 ? if so you need white bottom switches. which is actually a switch, not a digital encoder. If not disreguard
  6. Greg if you just drive it normally and take it easy for at least the first 500ks then you'll be fine. When driving hard just make sure you change carefully. The smoother / quicker the better. Also avoid using you clutch as a brake in the down changes. If you do, then just heal toe. But if your not good at heal toe then dont practice on a new clutch On OEM clutches, the material and clamp force are quite different to your setup greg. It is still good practice to bed in any new clutch however.
  7. pretty much.. but worse is riding the clutch too much. its just heats up and scores/melts bits into the flywheel and pressure plate clamp areas. Saw one the other day where someone had done this and wrecked it. I took care being a little anal about my bed in process and its the best thing I could of done. It rewards me with a sh*t ton of bite. When my clutch heats up it because very bitey, Almost gets into the hard to drive catagory. But not quite.
  8. Some more track shots etc. Have very high qaulity shots of all these and more ... just ask.
  9. Being violent on the clutch out of the box or slipping it in the first 500ks will cause bad glazing and in a lot of cases cause the clutch to start slipping. Again its totally subjective with what materials your clutch itself is made from. OEM clutches are a lot softer and can handle being abused a bit more from the outset. Something like a organic/carbon comp or metal comp cant. It will just glaze/score the surface of the flywheel side.
  10. Talk nicely to Jamez and he might sell his and aprils 850 v12

  12. looks pretty sweet man ... nice work! Its a single mass flywheel, pressure plate and clutch setup.
  13. My horse and car is better than your horse and cart. Its human nature. Has nothing to do with saving the planet as much as it seem it does. Not that the planet actually needs saving

  19. Nah youre not allowed. Cage it first .. youll probably find it will have its second wind as a track car. But some how I dont see that happening with how low Ks yours is.
