Thats not so bad. I got ferodo ds2500 street/track pads which retail at 440 per set. Great pads though
-
depends if you sell the v12
-
Is there a picture i cant see?
-
I like it
-
Plus 24 anodised fittings on a v12 manifold looks sick.
-
If you track one down that is. Few places list them but dont hold stock

Looks like someone used david dickinson to upholster the seats....

Same as faulty sensor you can wire them to look occupied. Though you do run the risk of injury to children who wouldnt always engange the occupancy sensor as they are to short for an airbag. Some new cars also have variable airbag discharge power dependant on weight. Prob not on e36 though. The sensor is pretty simple so my advice is get the compatable seat or swap the sensor over. Google occupancy sensor replacement. Should give you an idea of how. Or at worst an upholsterer should do cheap. I wouldnt mess with a safety system so do it once do ot right
-
Damn that went well
-
Its 95%prep 5% painting.

Pretty cheap still. Should i buy it just incase i ever get back to doing a m52 swap. Decisions decisions

First thing is checking the wheels are hubcentric. This causes most issues. After that wheel balance. After that magical suspension issues that happened to appear at the same time.

Worth it if you arent sure of colour. Cant change powdercoat if you change your mind. Seen it last a couple of years on wheels. Has a satin finish so dark colours are easier to keep clean. Can be washed just dont scrub with a stiff brush.

Ive had good runs out of lifetime warrenty toolpro stuff from supercheap for bits like power bars and ratchets etc. But found more expensive sockets fit the bolts better. Less chance of rounding. even more sp with torx.bits etc. Was very impressed by both snapon and jonnesway tools.
-
Yup cool stuff. first coat needs to be very thin to stop runs. Easy after that. thicker coats are easier to remove than thin.
-
Check if wheels are staggered My 740i had staggered wheels.so ideally stagger tyres
-
Try to get a half inch drive torx socket. I did mine with a 3/8 but it felt a little sketchy.

Noones gonna talk about drivers getting a blowjob? A friend crashed while recieving. Gf complained that she was doing all the work and got all the bruises....

You could do valve stem seals but its a big job. Only reccomend if its been smoky already. Personally i would do the valve adjustment while its out. Heaps easier out of car and stops the rattle m20 are known.for Do oil change at same time as crap will get in it. Dont.forget its a torx head socket to do up the head bolts.
-
Penetrating oil on all the exhaust bolt for a day before couple of resprays if possible. One exhaust bolt took as much time as the whole rest of the dissassembly
-
My one cracked from the water jacket through to the exhaust valve

I dont imagine theres a huge market for new boots as rwd boots last quite well. So most on the market will likely be from the original manufacturer. quality of the boot wont matter so much as they dont really do alot. Buggest thing will be using a high quality grease if you regrease the joints. again most cv joint grease will be fine as rwd dont get as much angle change as a fwd and arent under stupid pressure.
-
And if you dont want to play ameteur mechanic learn about your car abit more. No cv joints on the front for example. Most of the bmw stuff the oem mechanics are trying to use is actually the very best item for the job.

Personally i would trust the google results with pictures showing how its done than just the first responce on here from someone who is probably quoting google results anyway.
