Is she coming from thailand or russia?

Ive had many good cars take up to 15 pumps t remove the piston. The increase in pressure after the firstbtwo pumps could be the vac servo running out of pressure.
-
Not saying you havent done it right but the reason you are still getting quoted $500 is because there is a chance of the box coming back out if the clutch or something isnt right. No professional will take that chance when giving a solid quote.

Injector cleaning usually runs cleaner through them with pulsing but also usually uses ultrasonic vibration to dislodge crap. As its a fuel air mix redo the intake manifold gaskets. And clean any idle control system
-
Also urgently needed means +50% price.

You can clean it up with a wire brush. Then abit of brake fluid and a scouring pad to polish any crap off the surface. Any pitting can re rust but fresh fluid wont let that happen. Also bad pitting can slowly cause seal leaks from being abrasive But again not quickly. In my experiance most sticking is from the pad sliders. So if it looks too hard you could try just lubing the sliders in the mean time. Stuck piston will cause excess wear. Sticking sliders often cause uneven wear. As one side sticks more than the other.

Lots of pistons are stainless which wont need doing. Its the chrome ones that get pitting and rust

If the worst house sold for over 1 mil... How the f did you afford a 850i, or milk and bread for that matter
-
That is very cheap for new ones. Ive seen a used set sell for 650

Love it

And you think those ebay copies will have the bmw diamond coat uv protection? Probably yellow just as fast as polished lenses.
-
Repolish every couple of years vs $500 lens replacement. Mine is not a show car so ill stick with polishing

I left my clutch off to reduce parasitic drag

Penrite will only sell full boxes of any product. Stupid policy. But gives a minimum of 12 or 24 for most products.

Not quute that powerful at moving heavy objects. But i set iff the steering wheel bag in a toyota recently with the doors closed and it smashed the windscreen quite throughly despite pointing the other way. I saw a vid recently where some guys replaced a bonnet catch with an airbag and wired it to the starter. Mate clicks the key and gets a bonnet fly up onto the windscreen.

Yea just have plenty of water to flush debris away

Bit of fun to pop them. 4m of wire and a battery

That yellow layer you see is the factory clear coat. Where it fails it comes off easy. Where its still good it takes effort to remove You need more sanding. Thats why i use whole sheets rather than the little pads in the box. Just go to a 1200. While sanding you should see yellow or white residue coming off which you can wash away. then once it gets uniform move back through finer grits.

Already got my stock. Not sure what im.gonna put it in.

Pretty sure the reserve bank is more interested in the billions we export than private imports

I just washed them first. For how simple it is i usually remove the headlight. Makes it easier to sand. By the time you get 2000grit done they should look perfect when wet but hazey as they dry. Polish removes that haze. i know of people who have clear coated the lens for an amazing finish but havent tried that myself

1200 then 1500 then 2000 grit wet sand. Then meguires plastx. Brings them from impossible to see anything through to 95% clarity. More effort better results
