    New mod for the CSL

This could be knocked up in cad with ease, just need some basic dimensions. A good manufacturing process would be the interesting bit. Looks nice with the polish in the dimples

    Quick rant thread.

I get this about once every 6 months or so at princes street off ramp. That and people thinking the over bridge is one way to the on ramp and start to queue in the oncoming lane. That always leads to some entertaining stare down competitions followed by a long reverse of shame..

    Quick rant thread.

    1) Ice cream truck impersonators. Ie the dudes who drive around with music (Britney spears in this case) blaring from megaphones on their front bumpers. Seriously why you want to attract attention to yourself in a clapped out Legacy is beyond me. Is this just a south Auckland thing? 2) reading what you just typed and realising your turning into a grumpy old man
  4. Is this the same car that sported a air shifter with buttons on the steering wheel? If so its evolved well over time.
  5. Is this lot still going? If so I will take it all. Pick up tonight. 02102252358 Will give you some beer as " free" feels too cheeky

    Clarkson Sacked

As much as I love TG it needs a refresh. Last nights segment on Peugeot was pointless and boring. The hosts at times are tittering school boys entertaining only themselves making the show quite hit and miss. On that bomb shell for me Clarkson, goodnight...
  9. Have a set of style 54 205/55/16 . Has warrantable michhelin primacy hp tyres. Look like this http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/54 Had them on my e36 while sorting out other wheels. 1 is mint the rest have some curbing. Make me an offer
  10. I asked a similar question a while ago and had this response. May help. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/25853-steering-clunk/?hl=%2Bsteering+%2Bclunk Does it click once per revolution, or when loaded /unloaded, both directions of travel?
  11. Rebuilt both front and rear washer motors on the touring. The front one stopped on Sunday and the rear has never worked. Both were corroded to hell but now buzz happily. Will see how long they last while replacements come in.
  12. Photo from my Haynes manual. No links sorry If you google e36 Bentley manual you can download a good manual for free. Im not sure if there is a link on this site.
  13. Can confirm they are not voided. I have just swapped mine for poly and have the original here. WOF this morning at vtnz no problem. Based on that there should be no grounds to fail wof regardless of which rule is quoted
  14. I think two documents or sets of requirement are being confused. The first is from the virm CamB posted which aligns with the wof guys comments point 13 H reasons for fail. h) is a replacement urethane suspension bush that is not voided or shaped to allow for similar movement to an OE bush The second is the lvv cert limit which is stated above I read this as poly bushes of a design which limits intended suspension movement as designed by the car manufacturer are not allowed for wof but in it self is not enough to warrant a cert. Rock......hardplace
  15. Have used a 6 dollar pumpy oil can from SCA to pump fluid up through a clutch master which wouldn't bleed. Worked very well. Can borrow or buy your own.
  16. I have a E46 touring and fit a Phil and teds buggy in it without too much trouble. I need to fold the handle up for extra clearance in length. It costumes about half which leaves the other half for shopping etc. Not a newer 335 sorry but useful info i hope

    Schrader Valves?

Schrader are 1/4npt. I'm sure you can get adaptors however to more or less anything.

    Schrader Valves?

Are you planning an aircon recharge? Valves are pricey locally compared to overseas. Used to use them at work when designing refrigeration systems. Will ask around tomorrow for best pricing.
  20. I bought in one of the "O" towns. Two years on I'm amazed at the rate the area is changing. For sub 500k our first home is on a full section 3bdrm with a 6x9 garage. The house needed some work but not beyond diy capability. Now with the area changing. Multi swimming pool complex and new train interchange due next year. Even the worst houses are demanding dollars beyond the reach of mere mortals. But there are still buys to be had depending if you don't mind a unfashion able suburb and a house with some work required.
  21. Did you do anything to stop the stitches unravelling if one of the sewn threads break? Not sure it its a real issue but could happen if there is a lot of tension pulling on these threads
