Mother of god. At least you could have given it some dignity and posted the Fairmont Ghia version. But still incorrect, that car "competed" with the E38. Ford was into the BA buy the time the E65 was released. And the BA is a reasonably smart looking car. In any case, they are more likely to be compared with the 5 series anyways. E39 and E60

will be the same as any other E34, unless it has self levelling suspension which is highly unlikely on this 525 sedan, usually only 540i and Touring if even optioned

US engines are very different to our so called euro engines. they will be using S52 cams not euro S50 cams which i assume is what you have in mind, which are highly likely to be totally different. Even their S50s are missing the ITBs we get here etc etc Have you even found some S50 cams to use before you are asking this question? they are probably hens teeth in this corner of the world

no bumper mounts, were left on the car. is a non-colour matched japanese/low spec NZ type one. can organise it to be colour matched, especially if you need it alpine white

yes, my 316i coupe (one that is still in my signature) i used to have i loved like i shouldn't have. i don't know what it is about them. no power, so you are forced to drive them well to keep the pace you have accumulated there. Unfortunately (or not) i got offered stupid money for it shortly after fitting 15" basket weaves etc and taking it to Southwards to have some photos professionally done, the wrong person saw them and it got sold.

cool car, iconic car, etc But they really are ugly??????? Looks like an 8 Series and another 8 series had an incest child together
-
same car as this is it not? http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/49026-e30-convertible/ Plenty of soft top E30s here these days!

once you put an M52 or M62 in it yep definitely. Probably does one wheeler peelers if your super gay, at least they will be rear wheel drive though Its ideally suited to be a race car really. --- Here are some photos: Seats have been swapped, door cards and drivers seat are a navy blue colour, rest of the seats are black. Would also explain why it has rear headrests, that no 316i has AFAIK Missing foglight blanks If sold at asking price and if required by buyer will come with a proper BMW air box as long as the M20 one is the same as M40 which i think they are, and will also fit one of the stereos from the pile here, probably a clarion or something. Edit: and never mind the plates that are on it, just put those on there so that the car doesn't draw attention to itself when i had to put it on the road over anzac weekend, and to take it over the pit at my mates this weekend coming. car is dereg. original plate is OM3571

Is it just me or is the evolution badge on the back not centred right? i assume it used to say eve 7 and then they took off the 7 and left it at that??? yep all on tick.

will get some up later today its at 188xxx, and yes manual. auto 316i no way are they worth having, but the manual ones are good if you drive them for what they are. Try and drive them hard and you will find they are no better economy than any other E30 or other BMW. I used to daily a 316i manual coupe and i would regularly get around 7-8L/100km if you nanna the sh*t out of it. come into their own in traffic, only enough fuel to keep a sewing machine ticking over.

Got a white e30 316i 4 door facelift NZ new, not a single option ticked Even no cigarette lighter, no center clock, no sound deadening in boot etc Means it's the lightest E30 you will find. Catch is, also no registration (deregistered) Is very tidy except drivers seat Anyone want it? Looking at $1500 or so. Very happy to deliver to Auckland if required

don't forget, you can have all the service history you like. Things like window regulators, idrive failures, headlight actuators... etc, they all still break. and when they do, $$$$$ they are still a $200k car even if the window card doesn't say that anymore

and wagons are supposed to be heavier and i got a boat anchor in the front of mine???????
-
How the ef is it 1990kg??? is that with full tank of gas, baby buggy etc etc in the car???
-

Got it all apart just now. removed aircon radiator condensor thing, and factory auxillary fan, and in the bin. My windows work so i dont need aircon. This in itself should help cooling a lot, lots of bugs and that in the aircon one with its tighter weaves, so that wouldnt have been doing me any favours. Have measured up the space, the radiator is 18" high by 24" wide, but realistically its is about 15" high due to constraints with the cross memeber the bonnet bolts to. So 15" by 24" to work with. I am running the factory BMW viscous fan clutch on the engine side of the radiator. Am I better off to buy one 15" fan, or two 10" fans? (dont think 2x12" fans would work even though its 24" wide, due to mounting constraints, body of the fan etc.

buy Pauls 120d Manual and call it a day. (its in the for sale section)
-
woodgrain just doesnt work in any 3 series
-
yeah mine is one or two clicks forward of all the way back and i am 6,3. Way more room than an E30, all the way back is still not far enough lol
-
i wish i needed a daily driver right now, would be the perfect car really!

they seem like inbreds at the one closest to here too.
