yep no way is it 25k. 15k would be on the high side, but with the options and extras it has, maybe. looks like at least three others think so looking at that auction.

epic first post welcome to bimmersport?

water theoretically boils at 100, but not in reality. you still need thermometer

Yep sure am. You are very welcome to take mine for a drive if you are in wellington. For the most part its like driving one at stock ride height, the spongy seats and long wheel base help with that. Just certain bumps you need to be careful of, try to avoid man hole covers etc. you get used to driving a lowered car pretty quickly. Yes, use a complete engine. the B20 use different intake/afm etc. best to just get a complete one from an E36, and then swap your E34 (B20) sump, oil pickup, dipstick and tube, and mounting arms onto it. then its all drop in from there, and should just plug it in and go, shouldn't be any special wiring etc. You will probably need to buy a new E34 B25 intake tube, thats probably the only thing

Looking to buy a set of Borbet Type A wheels. They can be replicas Prefer 16" for sure, but could maybe settle for 15" if price was right. Of course, E30 4x100 fitment. Bit of a long shot asking here, have found some brand new overseas ill buy if nothing local Cheers Andy

looks like it has a dash cap
-
I would start by checking spark plug leads are snug over the spark plugs If so, pull them back off, check resistance of the spark leads, they should all be around 6k ohms then check dizzy cap and rotor is in good condition. (none of these things will be picked up if you 'scanned' the vehicle, engine is to old for that) post back results and can move on from there etc

you're right it does make it tough. But there are still plenty of Ceferios Laurels Skylines etc that are no way legal etc I know plenty of people that do certain things to get a WOF and then change it all back after etc -
theres a thread on it somewhere on the internet. everything works including temp gauge and fuel read out etc. i remember reading the only thing that didn't work is the fuel consumption because 1/ not built into game and 2/ it relies on other things from a real car to work out itself
-
depends what you are looking for now. the nice ones definitely going the other way but like any car this old, plenty that can be picked up for $300 or less if you can be bothered. i have people trying to sell them to me all the time lol
-
Very true Geoff. Also, pass the bottle of tequila?
-
i agree They would be fine with $20k too. Doesn't mean thats what they will pay out if it all goes pear shaped

rattling plate is easily solved with a strip of trim tape behind the number plate, and leave the backing tape for the other side on the strip so the plate can still move, or it will find another place to vibrate etc.
-
i seem to remember you loosing a numberplate in a puddle once??? Fkn aye. is yours a GQ/Y60???

this was made by the guy that owns R3vlimited (E30 specific forum)
