tried MBL8 on my M40, wasted $70.

me and some of my mates tried everything, aparently it starts booking up in september!!! going in late Jan now thats the best we could get lol

Saw some nice and not so nice ones today, saw: - a red E46 318i wagon, illegally tinted (maybe) windows, lowered on some low offset rims, may have been schnitzers or similar, car didn't stop moving so hard to tell, looked really good though, seemed tidy. abour 930am Vivian St - a Grey E30 M3, think the plate was TL13? fairly untidy looking but maybe just needs a clean, Peton esplanade and then later parked up at weltec automotive facility - a riced to hell E30 with half tech2/half E46M3 front kit, and some god awful skirts and rear kit and the chrome taillights you get off trade me. at least it didnt have halo headlights though. took the porirua fork in the motorway, explains it all LOL

one of my 318i had every single motorsport option ticked, basically was a facelift M325i except had the M40B18 engine, all came from the factory like that too. that car just had a very faded ///M and nothing else on the back

presume you have CarJamed or know more than the rest of us? because the licence plate holder doesnt mean it came from japan, they had the same ones in the states as most of their plates are more or less the same height as jap ones (much taller than NZ). someone could have even fitted that in NZ

same here, have only had one ticket since i lost my licence, and that was for no seatbelt (i was backing a trailer out onto the road, in Hawera of all places). Is a real wakeup call. One of my mates younger brothers has lost it for street racing when he f**ked it up and crashed into the other guy also street racing that took off. Im just glad i didn't drive for a job when i lost it like he does, the paperwork is enough to put anyone off.

i dont buy depreciating cars, thats why i havent brought a new car. I could afford an E90 or whatever, I test drove a 335Ci in manual about 4 months ago and they sure are nice. but id rather have higher payments on my house at this stage and get a good financial backing than spend it on a depreciating car. As for an E46Ti specifically, I am very unlikely to buy one until they are more around the 3-4k mark, id rather put $1500 of new parts into an older car and bring it up to scratch, than spend 8k now on a car that could sh*t itself in 6 months.

anything wrong with your B16 motor? could be interested in it to give you some pocket money. no rush

You may find they tyres were fitted by the dealer thats selling the car. but the seats dont look original for this car, i thought the front seats are supposed to have horizontal stiching on the M3s, while the back seat on the other hand looks to have way too many horizontal lines?

yes thats right, i have a saved search on trade me for them, the black one there now started at 25k and is now at 14k, may have dropped again. a 318ti goes for around 7-9k the 316ti seem to be more like 5-7k. have been a few go through turners as well, but nothing in the last 6 months. the 325ti is the only later model BMW i actually watch the prices on, dont really care for other models. mind you the E60s are starting to grow on me a bit

iirc i tried that and it didn't fit but this is a few years ago so may be wrong yes, they are about 20mm wider than the M40 one

definately agree. There is a 325ti Manual for sale in wellington at the moment on trademe in black. my mates mom has a red one and i really like it. I came very close to buying an AC Schnitzer 318ti one a year or so back, did prepurchase at JKSE and everything, but had a few mechanical issues so decided to walk away
