I believe on the NZ plates 7 characters is the maximum, but i havent seen it done yet. Just looked at the ones on my E30, there is certainly room for it. User on here Ollie has BMRSPRT on an NZ plate (didn't come from me), search him in the members button above, currently has it as his display picture. Edit: Let me know when you know the combination you want and ill email my guy and confirm its okay Edit 2 : Updated first post

have you tried using your key? Failing that, you'll have to Rodger it open, the screws to undo the handle are on the inside of the glovebox for security reasons.

I think Michael knows too much about cars to work there. plus he doesn't own a Lancer -
expencive way of buying it because you are paying for water too. plus just because it says 50/50 on the bottle, im one of those people that think its probably more like 30/70 because they can get away with it

No wonder Ladas are made of such thick steel lol, but having owned one and knowing the way they handle, it doesnt surprise me at all.

dont forget the dealership has to make it worth their while as well, no it doesnt cost them $200 to reset a light and stamp a book so the dealership isn't the cheapest place to service your BMW, who would have guessed

didn't even know you could buy lifter treatment stuff, where do i get that from? Repcos? My M40 is really noisy, but cheaper to replace the engine when it becomes so had it than it is to sort out putting 8 new ones in Is it, oil oil out, new oil in, then add treatment and then replace oil again within 1000kms or..?

Yes Roy is his name, hes an incredibly knowledgeable guy on any car you could possibly think of at least 20 years old, i guess thats what happens when you've been doing it for the 40-50 or so years he has. Even spotted my E34 had an S5 body kit on it, most BMW nuts wouldnt even recognise that.

thats expencive. would be $80 if you DIY, and an oil change is easy. alternatively, i just checked, you do have an OilChangers in Hamilton, just go there. http://oilchangers.co.nz/

E30 325i Lowering Springs Advice
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to albert72's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
well there is half your problem, an E30 should be running 195 or 205 wide tyres with a lower profile than what you have too on a 15" rim. 55 profile is big on its own, let alone on a 255/55. Infact on thinking about it, this must be a typo, i doubt 255s would even fit on a standard E30, 245s struggle on my E34 up front. but even if that was supposed to say 205/55, profile still too high should be 45 or 50 -
bugger, walked out to the E30 to check but forgot it doesnt have aircon so doesnt have that sensor either! sorry

nice, if its still all original, keep it that way! Good original E30s are becoming really hard to find these days -

E30 325i Lowering Springs Advice
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to albert72's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
shows us a picture? is it same springs front and rear? the back will always appear lower than it is because of the gaurd overhang "tucking" the rear tyres edit: also, same tyre profile front and back? -
depends what it includes. thats like asking is $6k expensive for a car and not defining what the car is.

my opinion on using kiwi shoe polish for bumpers
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to lightshine's topic in Appearance
only colour matched ones typically found on UK imports and usually NZ new cars too (but not my 316i) are painted, most jap ones are unpainted run of the mill grey-corolla-collered bumpers even on well specced 325i
