isnt that the point? hes not going to sell it to someone looking for an Audi 80... or maybe i misread your post ha. Yes i am a little bias on the touring but opinion is fact based i have had four tourings, 2x i sold for $3500, one of those was an iX the other was a tidy 525i auto, another i sold for $2500 with rooted paint. Brents sold a couple round there too i think maybe a bit more. Make a lot more sence than an E30 touring for a practical car, and despite being older most likely more reliable than E39 touring. Find another Euro wagon with the space for the $$

lol yes I do, i ran out of spaces on the side bar to put my cars in lol curently have 8 cars lol V12 E34 TOuring E30 Cabby '72 2002ti E38 728i E30 318i E36 300ti compact E36 325i manual and my Toyota Hiace, the most reliable of the lot lol

Hard thing to price as there is not many around. the manual is a bonus, but other than that doesnt appear to be anything that make it stand out?? i would aim for $2500

fortunately i payed GST on my bus fare and on the food i ate to get the energy to walk there.

the image i am coming up with is a different plate different pic you can buy the report which will tell you the current owner unless they have opted out of the system, lucky for you the vast majority of people havent
-
also they appear to be badged RE760 in the US is this correct

Not sure what your point is here... you dont opt out of Super by opting in to Kiwisaver... I am not looking forward to the day Kiwisaver is compulsary. Those that it will benefit are already in it, and I will admit for the vast majority of people its a great scheme. However, one of the few brackets it doesnt benefit is the one I am in, 40 years off retirement but already own my home. In my case, it will hold me back from where I want to be in 10-20 years time if it came in now. In any case, Kiwis should have the freedom to continue building thier own brighter future, not rely on some fat cat i dont know. Make Kiwisaver comulsory and in effect you have increased taxes and super, with a bunch of investment houses clipping the ticket

Anyone tried these yet? I have had a great run from RE001 and RE002, so im guessing its much of the same?

Please post pictures when you can Cheers

yep even the SWB is a big car, but they are bloody good looking. all this E38 love, i need to pull my finger out and get mine sorted again.

COuld be a seperate discussion in its own.... roughly an 8th (12.5% of our taxes) go to the super highest consumer of our taxes by far. Edit: Census 2013 says 14.3% of people are 65+ so i guess that, of course you cant draw percentage correlation straight away, but its interesting.

the point about collection costs outweighing the revenue gained is an interesting one worth talking about.. in the short term, i totally agree, but over the long term, would it be foolish to say it will work it self out by: 1/ Customs/IRD putting in more comprehensive systems to deal with the XXX% more paperwork, cost "per unit" decreasing and/or 2/ a decrease small items purchases any rate, due to people buying thier new $8 iPhone case or $63 Vanos sensor locally Thoughts?
-
tbh, you wont get something nice for $600, most decent mufflers cost the best part of that alone. 5 hours labour to to builf it you are half way into your budget. shipping full catbacks etc is very expencive as well, better off shipping ust the muffler you want and the building something up here. buy the flanges if you want to. Borla is another company that make some nice gear for the M20 at the end of the day however to have something worth owning you will be paying around the $1200 mark..... maybe you should buy a stock 325i setup and leave it at that for now?
-
you are right, for the most part gone are those days what with OSH rules and various buyouts/liquidations of the small fish that used to let you through the doors. E.g. This time last year Mana Recovery/Trash Palace would have been a gold mine for you, unfortunately they closed thier doors recently when various DHBs withdrew funding. Only one that remains to spring to mind is Earthlink in Wingate, though i do not have anything to do with them Send me an email tomorrow i will see if i can put you in touch with some other people on the same wavelength as you.

yep perfect for a 3 series or some spacers to fit onto 5 or 7
-
also need to think about tyre size or even brand can make a difference, eg, Bridgestone have nice "straight" side walls that dont balloon out where as some others (Conti springs to mind) do balloon quite a bit

not having more random hookups and fkn E46 door handles lol
