  1. yep perfect for a 3 series or some spacers to fit onto 5 or 7
  2. also need to think about tyre size or even brand can make a difference, eg, Bridgestone have nice "straight" side walls that dont balloon out where as some others (Conti springs to mind) do balloon quite a bit
  3. not having more random hookups and fkn E46 door handles lol
  4. Monday to Friday days basically go for 100 hours anyway so may as well make it that
  5. My company Swann does good rates, my E30 is on a regular policy for $300 pa and i can drive that. Havent investigated price to get the 2002ti under laid up cover,, i just know they do it
  6. you are all wrong anyway. everyone knows its directly related to how big the fuel tank it is. Costs $60 to fill, must be economical!
  7. if no second hand options come through for you, Turner motorsport in the USA frequently if not perminantley have a combo pack you can buy with these two brands for most BMWs i have searched on there.
  8. Best tool is probably your phone to punch in Glenns number
  9. never mind an E30, would go well in my 2002ti. hmmmmmmm
  10. Christ that is a sharp price. sharpen the pencil any more there wouldn't be any wood left
  11. I dont do sport, and can't stand american garbage save for the odd big bang or family guy. For people like me, Popcorn Time is all I need. A guy at work has been waiting for two-three months for Vodafone to connect them up at his new place. got it now, but jesus. and he is on one of the two main streets in Petone
  12. Yes I do, give me a text 0273079322 can come get this week or weekend if you want. Yep can do that too, send me a PM when you get a chance.
  13. I found some inspiration for you Hans
  14. remind me to have a look tomorrow, pretty sure i have one from the 740i that slipped the chain.
  15. i guess the question is what you are trying to achieve? Brakes are woeful compared to a new car yes, but do the job well for the age etc, youll get the biggest jump in performance with some better pads (NOT racce type) and getting rid of the 10 year old fluid in the system. Although i havent driven an E30 with E36 suspension, i dont see the advantage really, unless you wanted to go to 5 stud wheels. An E30 on new shocks springs and bushes is a very good drive (well unless it has no roof like mine lol)
  16. lol some would disagree! thanks mate.
  17. Think that's enough team. Keep it civilized!
  18. the master cylinder bolts onto the pedal box, then you need to get fluid to it somehow.. i guess there is no reason you couldnt run it off the brake reservoir, the nipple on the brake reservoir is there even on RHD cars... just not the way BMW did it on the RHD cars. Edit: although the line over to the clutch master would be higher than the reservoir, so will be bitch to get the air out when bleeding, thats the only road block i can think of.....
  19. ^^^ that would be the standard for MOST kiwis.
  20. the LHD cars have the clutch master than runs off the brake reservoir, for our RHD cars they have a seperate reservoir than mounts on the battery tray directly above the pedal, and then the line from the master to the slave goes up over the top of the engine and down to the left hand side where the slave is. this part very hard to ship, someone might be willing, or just make up your own. All of this stuff is available brand new from BMW still if required. (edited for clarity)
