  1. We actually debated this while there (there were three of us in the debate). I concluded that the fastest cars on a track would be as follows: 1) Porsche Carerra GT 2) Noble 3) Challenge Stradale The other two did not know what a Noble was, so had to believe me. Interesting though, I wonder if Top Gear has had these three recorded going around their track in the hands of the Stig(s)? I will look it up. Cheers Grant
  2. Yup - here is the blurb off their website (www.eurosunday.net)"EuroSunday Sacramento is the founding city and the heart of EuroSunday. EuroSunday is an event for owners of exotic, rare or vintage cars and bikes to use as a venue to showcase their works of art. But EuroSunday is more than just an event. It is a lifestyle upholding a code of conduct that promotes social networking and camaraderie. Everyone that attends our events is encouraged to talk to fellow participants to learn more about the history and ownership of particular vehicles or marques. Business owners in the automotive and motorcycle markets as well as general markets also have a venue to network with owners in a no-pressure low-key environment. EuroSunday expands beyond its own events by promoting local car and motorcycle club events as well as informal events hosted by individuals. In addition to events, EuroSunday organizes indoor and outdoor professional photo shoots, social and spirited drives, in addition to social outings to wineries and dinner events. Each EuroSunday city has its own unique format that holds true to the EuroSunday lifestyle of integrity and camaraderie but with a local feel to it. The heart of EuroSunday is the free once-a-month informal event open to all European car and motorcycle owners and clubs. The main focus of all events and activities is to give the owners of exotic, rare, or vintage cars and motorcycles a venue to showcase their works of art as well as network with fellow car and motorcycle enthusiasts."
  3. I will probably go to one of their next events and have a looksee, sounds like they have lots of very cool cars, and this was just a sample. One guy was meant to have his Veyron there, but I didn't see it. Cheers Grant
  4. Hi All Here are some of the Euro Sunday Car Club's Cars that were on display. Excuse the bad pics, I always forget my camera, and rely on the phone.
  5. Oh yeah - I'm in the same basket. Only thing as bad is the use of the word "epic" to describe anything even remotely above average.
  6. I saw an orange Porsche Carrera GT on Friday night, as well as a Ferrari Dino 255, Testarossa, 360 Challenge Stradale, a Noble, Lambo Contach amongst about 50 other awesome and expensive Euro machinery at the Euro Sunday display at the International Auto Show. I also saw and sat in most of the manufacturers 2010 and 2011 new models. After 13 pavilions and several hours they all start to look the same. Cheers Grant
  7. Good god, that was for sale in Hamilton about 10 years ago!
  8. Troy/Allah If I ever met you in person, I'd want to punch you in the face. You are a complete waste of space. (I had to work so hard not to use profanity in here) GTFO That is all, as you were. Cheers Grant
  9. I just noticed (normally these things escape me). Not only is it your birthday, but a milestone one at that. Hope you have a great day! Thanks for your help and guidance with all things mechanical (including the odd bits of advice I still ask via PM about my Passat). Cheers Grant
  10. Before leaving NZ I sold one of my E36's with a $1 reserve. It generated a lot of interest in the auction, and I ended up with a fair price for the car. Cheers Grant
  11. He self destructed. All that's left is a pile of ashes and a burn mark on the carpet.

    Movember

I'm taking part, but can't be a part of the Bimmersport team, as I don't live in NZ. Ollie I'm sure we can sort my sponsorship money through paypal or the like. Cheers Grant

    How fast are you?

Exactly. The US is a huge place and large portions of the country are rather backwards and lagging 20 years behind. Cheers Grant

    How fast are you?

I just used a different test on my iPhone (connected to our wifi). Averaged between 14 and 16 download and 1.5 to 1.7 upload. We have a 20mb/s line into our house but our digital cable tv uses 2 mb/s of that. Cheers Grant

    shipping from USA

When we moved here, NZ Post was actually the cheapest to ship normal sized packing boxes to the US from NZ. We just shipped two boxes at a time over a period of a month. You just pay by the weight, and was pretty reasonable. Any stuff I have shipped from the US to NZ via USPS has been expensive, Cheers Grant
  21. We have at least two parts suppliers on here who are sponsors, I wonder if they have any "excess" rims taking up space?? (hint..hint) Great idea though OP. Cheers Grant
