  1. cheers for the feedback guys, much appreciated. bellicose: yup, agree with the points u made, i think i tried to include too much detail in the parking lot pics, and the lights took several goes to capture that "halo" above the lights with minimum glare Matt: with pics 2-5, they were taken with a fixed lens (lens that cant zoom, is that what you call them?), is that causing the lack of depth of field? Max: pic 3's my fav also haha, must have similar tastes in e30's then again, cheers for the feedback, good advice for a 1st timer
  2. cheers, so use a tripod and set slower shutter speeds?
  3. Needs a tidy up before proper attempt, but my mate and I took a few photos last night. It was our first time using a decent camera lol Advice and criticism please!

Yup, have seen Senna, and it is a great doco. Just a bit confused with Clinton's unusually poor syntax lol "Fastest" is pretty good as well

    Quick Questions

Is the throttle door supposed to by fully closed or a tad open when set at idle on an m40? I made the mistake of touching the throttle stop bolt, but didn't realise it. So now i'm getting weird cold start issues (no vac leak, ICV fine, dizzy cap checked, spark plugs checked, new intake gaskets, injectors checked) after i cleaned my injectors and re-assmbled everything . I'm suspecting TPS issues due to some adjustments or a faulty switch. TIA
  11. oh sweet, thanks for the info. And to stay on topic, got some Toyo T1R's 205/50/15 for the fronts

After you sort out the following: tax, logistics, payment, shipping arrangement etc... The cost of it all would be roughly the same or even a little higher as Magwarehouse importing it (based on my calculations from the start of the year). Give them a call/pay them a visit, they may have changed their charges. You pay them $$ per wheel (incl. shipping and GST), plus the cost of the wheels itself. edit: nlmotoring is where Magwarehouse sources their XXR's from (they told me this)

talk to Magwarehouse in St John (next to Carls Jr) for import, but when they actually arrive in NZ is another story (shipping and stock etc)

lol, you might as well buy some XXR 531's in Platinum first, because I still struggle to justify spending ~4k-5k for a set landed in NZ (new that is) but, go for it, its your money, and tell me when you want to part with them
  18. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?par...&showeur=on seems to be used by several other motors
  19. i know nothing about QS, but studying and working is a b*tch. I personally enjoy being busy after a couple years of being unproductive. When you do course readings, assignments, projects etc you'll need an extra kick of motivation to keep up to date and not fall behind whilst maintaining a good grade. Weekends and spare time will need to be used for all of that (holidays and semester breaks for quality Bimmer-ing ) As for attending lectures, yes, i would recommend going to them. Depending on your course materials provided, examinable material might only be covered in lectures. Also, lecs make it easier for revision (saves you from learning your material, so exam revision is purely revision, not learning). Thats my experience and view on your Q(1), after working and being at uni for the past 3+ years
