For a sec, i thought RJ DeVera was in town for Trick It Out NZ. Bodykit was o.k, but wheels *puke*

Also, check the exhaust system. My car used to have a "grinding" noise at ~2700rpm, and also have a "jingle" at ~2000rpm. Turns out, it was my mid-section exhaust bracket being broken and not securing the exhaust properly. It was bad enough after 18 months, that it caused a little vibration at those revs, and it was very noticable on the motorway. Might be complete BS, but all the weird noises and vibrations stopped after a $20 weld.

no idea tbh, but i don't think they all do, because from memory, mine doesn't

Steps: 1. Buy hub from forum sponsors (EuroItalia or NZAD) 2. Go to BM Workshop, or Botany Motorworks, and ask them to change hub for you When i got a bearing done by BM Workshop, ended up being 1.5 hrs labour (which included 30 mins roadtesting) and I'm sure our sponsors will offer cheaper parts compared to them. Feel free to try it yourself, but do the maths 1st before even taking things off.

my car never had one either, and it was never bought up at WoF's

bone stock gray/silver with bottle caps. No rips or fraying on the sports seats (incl. bolsters) with very very straight bumpers and body. Apparently owned by a dealer until 1989, then sold to his son recently that came with a hardtop roof, hence, unused//near new canvas.

that makes me feel better about mine At this stage, probably will just stick with a quality fluid and OEM pads tbh, won't do anything until a re-power

mint e30 PFL 325i cab @ Mt Eden Countdown parked next to me. Was admiring when the owner came back, he dropped the word "hardtop" into the convo, nearly came

haha thanks, still work in progress.

You could use Pelican parts if you are ordering other stuff any ways (~$55), but for me, the "drop" didn't seem worth while, when I could shorten my shocks for around ~$100 and fit Jamex superlows. But your plan sounds solid, i'm sure you'll post pics

Dealer. Last time I checked, ~$80 ex Germany. Are you using them for e28? Check clearances etc....some cases of gouge marks on the inner strut tower of e30's. But internet, who knows, there were e90, and custom 15mm and 20mm drop hats etc edit:strut tower
