Excellent progress - keep it up. Have you tried running the modified direct outputs of the bm53 into the low level inputs on the processor?

Did you figure out why the power output from the engine was lower than its meant to be?

Good on ya Josh. Can you post a pic of the invoice for the repairs to the oil leak and coolant leak? Would be interesting to see what was replaced and what wasnt. Oil leaks are very common on our n42 and n46 engines. Coolant system failures are common for just about all bmw's. The posters on here are very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction as far as preventing future oil or coolant leaks.

What year is the car? I think you have the N42 or N46 motor. Unfortunately these motors die, so its good you have a three year warranty. Make sure you follow the service plan you got with the warranty, so they don't try and dick you out of rebuilding your motor when the time comes. Apart from that, these are great cars. I agree with QUBE about maintenance and preventative maintenance, although dark tints would look cool on your car.

If you can reuse the heated seat pads, then I recommend it. Heated seats are awesome

Windows on the e46 are quite often a break in the metal arm that lifts the window.
