There's other factors such as mismanagement & poor marketing which is probably what was the cause of the downfall. The Corona virus just accelerated it. Look at Rolex watches for example. How many people wear fake Rolex watches? But Rolex still does well because of the marketing and the hype. P.S. Genuine BBS RS wheels are more over priced than houses in Auckland. BBS should have brought these wheels (15"/16") back into production seeing the demand for them.

I loved the DCT in my E92 335i when I had it. Really fun to drive. Dinan/H&R springs but make sure you upgrade the shocks too. Bilstein B8 are worth it.

Those 135i are such fun cars. Manual/DCT?

$67.00 for a WOF check at VTNZ. And an hour long waiting time.

Good luck with 130i being economical. And if you are paying $7k for one, expect to spend $1-2k on preventive maintenance.

Thanks mate. btw, my love for old BMWs was renewed in Indonesia after not having owned a single car for almost 5 years. Saw a black E23 on BBS dish, it was stunning! There have been some epic Barn finds in that country. Two E30 Alpinas and one actual E9 CSL race car with actual racing history that almost got forgotten about.

Yes!!! Oh man. I can’t forget the look on the driver of the white E30 we went past. He couldn’t believe his eyes, hahaha. That was a mint day for it too. We should organise a drive to Piha. Perfect roads for these cars. Just gotta watch out for Lycra gang on their Uber expensive carbon bikes. Honestly, Lycra on men should be frowned upon like speedos.
