  1. It is - was initially on T-me for just under 9, then 8, then 7... So I dunno. Sure there's a few niggles and the wheels could do with a tidy up but it's in generally good nick (for a 200km car) and drives pretty well.
  2. No - not yet Richard, the TM ad lapsed... I'm sick of time wasters and am in the middle of a house move so haven't been focused on it; just want/need it goneski. It's still available for a BS'er with a bit of time and a little bit of capability... any takers?
  3. Anyone got $5k? Or near close to? Have something I might buy if I can flick this pronto.
  4. Yeah, it looks pretty easy for anyone with half a clue; but I have the mechanical aptitude of a gnat, which is less than half a clue - and being colourblind I tend to steer clear of anything electrical.
  5. Ok - need this gone. If someone wants a bargain; get in touch ?
  6. It's been a good couple of weeks... new fixed term role started; current house in Whitby sold; new(old) house in the Hutt purchased. If only I could find a buyer for my e91... I s'pose it's true about things happening in threes huh?
  7. Nice wagon - GLWS! If some awesome Bimmersporter would give me seven for mine, I'd buy this in a flash.
  8. Bump - what am I doing wrong? There's a bluddy e46 (admittedly manual) touring on there now with higher k's for more $$$$... am I too honest? All I've had are people wasting their time, and my own - surely a genuine sale of a genuine car (warts and all) isn't too much to ask?
  9. Here's the Trade Me ad: TM link Happy to do a good deal for Bimmersporters - if you're interested, get in touch on here or mobile 0279 354 225.
  10. Yep, that was me - we might have cross-waved, haha!
  11. If this is the car I saw coming down the gorge on SH1 this morning (at around 8:30ish) then kudos and well done... it's a bluddy good looking unit! (snd if it isn't - kudos and well done... it's a bluddy good looking unit!).
  12. My battery was reading 12.6 last week before I replaced it - and then needed a starter.
  13. It's nice but... $20k for a pov spec 318 is a little optimistic. Sure it's NZ new and low k's; but $20k? YeahNah.

    Gissa job!

It's not easy out there; as you know as well as I do... sometimes the bullet must be bitten! The other consideration is to create my own business - hence I'm considering a career development diploma (true story). It's closely aligned to what I've been doing for years, and I can see the demand for it increasing - certainly if my own experience is any example; which of course it is

    Gissa job!

New contract doneski... slightly annoyingly it's the same stuff I've been doing for the last too many years but it's something; and it gives me the chance to do some training/certs over the next wee while, once I can decide exactly what I want to do.
  16. yeah, it should do - the tow was courtesy of the AA ?
  17. Thanks guys - it's off to Winger this morning... hopefully can get it going (otherwise it'll be a tow)... and hopefully some of the $$$ will be covered by my MBI. Also going to get it serviced whilst it's there then I'll give it a good clean over the weekend and it'll be going on Trade Me (need the cash due to an impending house purchase). Yay.
  18. TLDR: Where can I get an N52 starter motor in Wgtn?
  19. So, my 330i has been getting gradually slower to start over the last couple of weeks, But until today, had never failed... all dash lights etc on as per usual; but no turney over of the motor, at all. Nothing. Deadski. Got the AA battery dude out who waved his arms a lot and tested the battery; said the cells are at 12.2 and they need to be at 12.65 to turn the engine over. So, no worries, new battery - and Bob's your Uncle. Bob however, had other ideas. New battery achieved nothing, so the AA tech gets his torch and long screwdriver, and (channeling 18yr old me with my Mum's old HC Viva) reached down and gave the starter a bit of tap... and whaddaya know - away she goes. So there's my a bit p!ssed that I've just paid $300 for a battery that I don't need (no job/redundancy, hence keen to sell the 330i), but happy that at least the beast is firing again. Except the third time, it didn't. And hasn't since. So the AA tech assures me it's a starter solenoid and a piece of p!ss for anyone that knows a bit of mechanical stuff to pull it apart, give it a clean and she'll be as right as rain (clearly, this is not me). He can't do it of course, cause he's a mere battery tech. But as if by coincidence; he suggests I use my AA Plus m/ship and get it towed to his mates garage in the Hutt. I enquire why wouldn't I get a mobile mechanic for such a "simple" job, and he replies that to access/remove the starter you need the car on a hoist. Oh, well fudge me if that's not more of my (very) limited $$$$ going down the dunny - so he rings his mate in the Hutt who reckons it's a $3-400 job to fit a recon starter (I know, I know... what happened to simple?). So, once he finally stopped contradicting himself, took my money, and got the hell off my driveway - I now have a Titan Silver Touring paperweight sitting in my driveway. I'd appreciate any advice on whether any of what he was saying was likely (I'm sure it was, I'm just not sure which parts exactly), and, who I can get it taken to to get it fixed? I've used Winger before but can appreciate that they want an arm, my remaining lung, and my Kiwisaver. Not really an option lol. Sorry for the rant.
  20. The colour bothers me less than those wheels (and the obligatory JDM monsoons).
  21. I like it - jeez I wish someone would buy mine. In the meantime, GLWS!
  22. I took mine to a euro "specialist" in the Hutt and didn't have a great experience - following stuff I've gone to Winger and they've been fine (also sorted MBI work too). YMMV.
  23. I wonder what the sellers expectations are? GLWP!
  24. It's a lovely wagen; if someone bought mine I'd buy this in a flash - GLWS!
