The asking $14,999 price tags just shows you what happens when you have lots of earthquakes. You lose your bloody marbles.

Who said the standard of english is slipping. This thread is as clear as mud. Even pidgin would be an improvement.

Give Kayne Barrie a call. He does all my diffs and gearboxes and I have never had an issue.

The air does get out eventually but if there is a lot of air it doesn't do the pump much good at all. Best to get rid of the bulk of it by going from lock to lock quite a lot of times.

Did a hook up of sorts last night. Some bulbs not there and pixels not that great. Can't guarantee it so we will give it a miss.

Did you bleed the rack when you fitted it. When you fit a rack on the E30 jack up the front of the car just off the ground and turn the wheel from lock to lock quite a lot, say a dozen times to get the air out. Leave the cap off the power steer fluid container when you do it. Sounds like both seals are gone.

Sorry the guy that was going to test it was ill. He is lazy and has only been working 23 hours a day. If he had of worked 24 hours a day he may not have got sick. Soon as he is back on his feet I will get him to test it and take a picture.

s54 Vanos pump disc redrill & hub treatment? Where in NZ?
FIAT 131R replied to M3_Power's topic in General Discussion
I did quite a bit of research on cryo treatment and found a company who could do it. Put politefully they told me the so called benefit is bullshit and a waste of money. If you have a broken hub I can get it repaired with bigger lugs. $300 plus GST and freight. -
It's single vanos and I have sent you a PM
-
Will try and hook it up to test it tonight.

i HAVE ONE AND IT WORKED FINE WHEN I TOOK IT OUT $50 plus freight.

He's 24 today. Not sure he will have time to do much celebrating over in Sydney working with the V8 boys at Homebush. Might have to arrange a few beers when he gets back.

I am planning on winning a very large lotto first prize, say in excess of $35.0M in the not too distant future. When I win I want to buy a device that will destroy computers that belong to people who list Japanese cars on Tardme under BMW car parts etc. If the device can not only destroy their computers but also deliver a minor shock to the owner, lets say 10,000 volts, a bonus will be paid. The win can't be too far away so get inventing. It could be your lucky day. Bugger I just been told to win the Lotto you have to buy a ticket. How else can I stop those infuriating bastards.

I have an E36 325 engine from a 1994 car with 132km on the clock. Would be good with the ZF 5 speed gearbox that I have.

Where do you buy your (new) bmw replacement parts?
FIAT 131R replied to Kepes's topic in General Discussion
Try Paul at Milland. WWW.milland.co.nz. He is in Dunedin. Good guy and good prices. He is on Trademe as well. 03 454 6992. -
I agree. The people in "authority" are now so bloody stupid I saw a Road Code where the acceleartor is referred to as the "trigger". Unfortunately no one has shot them yet.

You say people who think stability control doesn't work are ignorant. I think it is you that is ignorant. Stability control nearly killed me. I was driving on a gravel road and got into a slide. I grew up on gravel roads and gave the throttle a bit of pressure and the wheel a little opposite lock. The Stability Control literally kicked my foot off the accelerator and did the opposite of what was needed. After stability control was "helping" me going from side to side all over the road I was so close to hitting the bank head on I was just about to let go the wheel to save my wrists. Luckily I had scrubbed off enough speed to disengage the stability control and buried the acceleartor and gave it heaps of opposite lock. The arse end of the car just touched the grass on the bank and I was out of trouble. Now when I am on gravel I switch the stability control off. I think I have driven close to 2 million km and rarely have I ever slid sideways unless I wanted to. Black ice is one of the areas I have slid on and stability control won't help you then. If you know how to drive on gravel roads stability control is bloody dangerous.
