I used the VW Golf booster in my M54 swap into the E30 and also put in a larger master cylinder . The master cylinder is a BMW H1 25.4mm non stepped one. I have some new ones if anyone is interested. My E30 stops really well.

Andy I don't know why you bothered. Anyone with even half a brain could work out there is nothing in this for you. Everytime I buy stuff it is always dearer than what I expect. I don't have a courier account and just abot everything I send is around $20. Even when you take the exchange rate if you use Paypal there is a margin in it for Paypal so that has to be allowed for. We should have a rule that if someone makes a genuine offer and it gets rubbished we send send the detractor a trailer load of fresh chicken sh*t.

Tried buying some items from this outfit on Ebay. Wanted to buy 6 items. The calculation for the freight trumpeted the fact that I had saved plenty on freight. I paid over the money. A few days later they contacted me to say that the items, which are made of alloy, are very heavy and the freight cost would have to go up by only 250%. I sent a number of messages. The responses were pretty much one track and never addressed the issues I raised with them. I told them I had initiated a dispute with Paypal. Seems like this pissed them off and they immediately cancelled the transaction and issued a refund. Seems like that's how they maintain "their good" track record when someone dares challenge them about any issue. Mate of mine in the UK said they were useless. I should have listened.

Where are you based

A big thanks to Dave at Motorsport Services for the assistance on the weekend. The wall at the entry to turn one jumped out and hit my car. The suspension was pulled out of the sub-frame and needed welding and strengthening. Oli Shepherd did the welding and Dave lent us the gear. Without the assistance from Dave I would have been driving back to Wellington again. It's much appreciated. It's amazing at race meetings how these types of guys keep us racing. Without them many of us are buggered.

I have a full set of doors complete with glass etc for a sedan. Might be worth giving me a call 021 449 242. They are not black.
