  1. Would an M62 non vanos be of interest. I have a 6 speed manual gearbox, driveshaft, diff, diff cradle etc etc to go with it
  2. Give Kayne Barrie a ring.
  3. Just checked the part numbers. The E36 and the E46 have quite different part numbers for the sensors
  4. Be careful with some of the fuel pumps from Ebay. A couple I bought lasted 10 minutes and that is actually 10 minutes or less.
  5. I don't want to go into details Andy but I can tell that we "frequent" different places hahaha.
  6. Thanks for the reminder on the PM box being full. I just emptied a lot out of it. I have yet to see a site more difficult to do things on than this site. I guess we should congratulate the designer and then remove his hands and his head.
  7. By clicking full editor does it give you next weeks winning lotto numbers because it sure as hell won't let you upload pictures to a message.
  8. That's bloody marvellous Andy but the option to add a picture or a file isn't coming up in the messages
  9. How do you add a picture to a message on this site. I tried to do a search to see if this had been asked before and the sh*t the search showed up was spectacularly USELESS. There is an option to add files to this post but not for messaging
  10. My thoughts exactly Jon. I thought a Roller might be a cheaper option
  11. In the Beisan notes it usually tells you that it takes 200 -300 miles to bed the new seals in.
  12. I saw a young guy down here a little while ago and he had the same problem. If the timing is out the exhaust valves can be open early and fuel mix gets dumped into the manifold and burns in there making it red hot. Because the fuel is not being used properly you loose power. It's most likely a timing issue.
  13. Setting a dream list level of $10K would make me contemplate suicide. Can you save me from this and lift the level to a million.
  14. France has only a small population to pay for their roads. Only 70 million odd people. I have driven in about 20 plus countries and NZ roads are on a par with many of them. Much better than Russia, Poland and a few others and worse than Germany but overall pretty bloody good. Why the hell are people worried about the fences at the roadside. Don't you people drive on the road. Every time I try to drive on those fences or even walk along them I fall off. If you look where you are going you should see the undulations and holes in the road and avoid them. Might be time you talk less and look more. I haven't seen a bunch of whingers like this for ages.
  15. Clearly some folks communicate on another level. Notice I didn't say a HIGHER level
  16. Just like to say a big thanks to John and Kerryn at JKS Southern Euro here in Wellington. I been working on Oli's car and he hid quite a few bits from me to present a challenge. John and Kerry were very helpful in getting the missing bits and with advice. Those E30 318's are mysterious if you are not used to them. To quote Arnie I will be back to see JKS when I need parts.
  17. Your problem can be fixed by lead treatment. You carefully place a piece of lead between the cats eyes. Ummm make sure you do it at high velocity.
  18. Welcome. Good to see more Wellingtonians on board. There is a meeting on sat afternoon if you want to meet a few others from the Capital and Best City
  19. Milland on Trademe. He is in Dunedin but his prices are very fair and reasonable.
  20. I can do a brand new shift boot for $45. and a used gear nob for $20. Firm price on both plus freight.
  21. Andy I have a complete M50 325i engine. 1994 with 132Km on the clock. It ran fine before I removed it. It has the loom, ecu and all ancillaries. Also have another M50 that has had a few parts robbed off it by "friends". Give me a ring on 021 449 242 if you are interested.
  22. Go to Milland on trademe for the gas strut. They are cheap as chips brand new
  23. MIGHT BE BEST TO TELL US WHAT YOU WANT
