  3. If your analysis of car performance is as inaccurate as your reading skills I can see why you think the E92 M3 is just an OK car.
  4. I do admit the AMG CL5 I drove the other day is faster but then again it is 5 years newer. It chews gas much faster than my M3 and 23 litres per 100 km is not that economical.
  5. I have owned an E92 for 5 years and driven about 30,000km from new. I have never heard anyone ever say that the E92 lacks a bit down low without them having their hands down the front of their trousers. I had to laugh about the comments about first hand experience being different to the entertainment of Top gear. I was highly entertained by the fact that the Merc and the Audi got their arses well and truly kicked.

  8. I thought I saw an advert or comment about someone wanting an M10 B18 dizzy on here. I went to the workshop and found the dizzy and now I have lost the buyer.

  13. You could try NGK Laser Platinum plugs. Part # is BKR62QUP 3199. I think I have a set in my workshop

  15. THIS IS THE MODIFICATION i DID TO OVERCOME THE SHORTAGE OF SPACE AS THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND THE HEADERS TOUCHED WHEN I FITTED THE M54 INTO THE THE E30. I HAVE ONE FOR SALE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. IT SAVES ABOUT 25MM IN OVERALL WIDTH.
  16. If you use the bigger master cylinder it helps a lot. I have a new one FROM THE E32 part # 34 31 1 156 643 from the 735 and 750i cars. I used this set up when I put an M54 into my E30. Let me know if you are interested. Geoff 021 449 242
  17. I couldn't remember what I paid for them to be honest and saw Jooles wanted one soon so thought of a number. I will be selling the other one I have and better go and check on the price I paid. Sounds like it was a lot higher. I have the same feeling as Santa gets every year. Oh sh*t that's right I am Santa.
  18. I have a brand new genuine master cylinder part # 34 31 1 156 643. It fits a number of models including the 735 and 750 E32 models. $140 plus freight of about $15. Let me know if you are interested. I did notice you wanted cheap but that's the best I can do and given that brakes are not important go CHEAP.
  19. The gas thing makes me laugh. Most people spend less than $40 a week on gas. The difference between a 3 litre and the smaller engines is a few bucks a week. Unless you are flooring the car at the lights of course and if you are that juvenile then the difference is nil and the 3 litre blows the opposition away. The bigger engine is safer for over taking as well. I get asked quite often what mileage I get out of my V8's. It amuses me because I don't know anyone who buys V8's for fuel economy.
