There should be a rule that is firmly administered about location of people being on their profile. We have on here guys like Glen who give so much of their time for free and the first thing they have to do is ask some stupid git who puts a smart arsed answer as to their locality on their profile where the hell they are. Come on admin make it a firm rule and give people 14 days to fix their profile.

Seems a bit weird to me. Sorry about your cat but how do you know they were speeding. I ran over someones cat because it shot across the road and then turned around and ran under my car. I spent bloody ages finding whose cat it was and checking it was OK. I was not speeding. Seems like you want judder bars at every place a cat gets run over. Hardly logical to me.

It's just not that they want to have the most electronics. They are a form of future income. The sensors crap out and have to be replaced. The manufacturers are cunning bastards and make sure none of the sensors are universal. That way they can get the car to go into limp mode if important sh*t like the screen washer bottle is only half full or a sensor to say your left foot should be 3.74 mm to the right. Cars are far more reliable mechanically because of advances made so they have to find other ways to stop them working and make money.

I am not on a high horse. I just like taking the piss out of cheap bastards who want the market to come down to their level. Markets rarely come down to meet the ideas of one little person. I thought after all this time you would have figured that out.

Seems you have been looking for a long time now. Maybe your idea of the going rate and the market rate are miles apart. I don't recall others on here bleating about the market rate for E34 sumps. They are in short supply but "stupid grease monkeys" look like they are plentiful.

I haven't looked at swapping an S54 head onto a S50. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it is not possible but am happy to be proved wrong. You are talking big money for a complete head, vanos, ITB's vanos, fly by wire throttle etc.

A bit more detail might help. I have an S54 B32 head with cams, valves etc etc. Is that what you are looking for.

I didn't say the Ferrari was new and the going rate for them is also up in the air. Just like sumps and ECU's if I wait something will turn up eventually. God likes a trier and some people are trying.

I know what you mean. Buying a Ferrari is the same. I offered them half the going rate and for some strange reason my offer was not accepted. I suppose if I keep offering them the same amount I won't get a Ferrari.

Do you come to Wellington as I have 6 speed S54 gear boxes and a 5 speed ZF with flywheels etc etc. I am around tomorrow 021 449 242. You can do the measurements yourself to get exactly what you need and see the options.

If you get it to Aaron Harris ask him to get Wayne to bring it down to me (Geoff) and I will compare it to the S54 B32. I have quite a few vanos bits here for the S54
