There is very little on them Martin except for BMW and a couple of numbers only one or two numerals.

WHAT SORT OF MONEY DO THE SUMPS GO FOR

James there are a couple of places selling upgraded oil pump shafts. They have a cam lobe on the shaft and use a bolt that screws into the shaft rather than a nut on the end of the shaft. You have to press the sprocket off the old shaft. Some sell you a new sprocket too but you have to press it on. Achilles Motorsport have them for about $165 US plus freight. It's not bad insurance as when the oil pumps break there is usually a big mess.

Can definitely do S54 but will check tonight on the S50

Welcome Michael. The dislike of cars from the UK has nothing to do with the anti Brit thing it's just many of us have seen the damage caused by the salt you use on your roads.

Well I needed a few engines for myself and imported a few more for extras. A couple of them have been rebuilt with JE pistons etc, upgraded oil pumps, rebuilt vanos and are for sale. I have been looking for a good E46 M3 with a blown engine to put the 2006 engine in but haven't seen any come up at the right price. I can't go killing potential customers so you are quite safe. There has been more than the odd envious look when people see what is in the workshop.

It is probably best you give me a call to discuss what you actually want as there are so many options and whether you want the loom, ECU with EWS and keys, headers, ancillaries etc. I have a 2006 engine one of the last produced for S54 with 48,000 miles or 76,800km. Geoff 021 449 242
