Give me a call on 021 449 242

I have met people who deserved exactly that. Under our PC rules the arseholes think they can get away with anything because the PC brigade will save them. I am not saying the producer deserved anything but with the media I am most distrusting of what gets said and printed. The truth is often a long way from what we are fed.

A lot of things reported are not true. I see Alonso has been negating many of things he supposedly said and did after his accident recently. The BBC gets everything right. Look at how right they got the Jimmy Savile situation.

If you KNOW it was a cowardly act you were obviously there. No doubt you even have video evidence of the cowardly act. I would hope like hell you haven't assumed anything. The first 3 letters of "assume" can be a description of people who assume. Top Gear is a bit about cars and a lot about taking the piss. Some folks miss the point.

Try Evan at Speedfactor. He is a sponsor on here

I have a package of M62 parts and would prefer to sell it as a package. It includes the engine, 6 speed manual gearbox, drive shaft, diff cradle and diff plus the rear hubs. Will have to check what else is there.

And you know this for a fact ???. On the the other hand are you mouthing off about something you know nothing about and doing a little tall poppy bashing. Be careful, you may get off your arse one day and become successful and have people talk about you in this way.

The joke of the situation with buying from NZ companies is they don't stock very many items and they have to get it from overseas. They want to charge you freight and then add their 300% margin. They don't even try and be competitive. The 15% GST will make very little difference. I pay the GST on many items anyway. I buy online because it's much easier and very much cheaper.
-
They are fairly hard to find and often the seller wants an exchange one to do up and sell. With freight and GST it would be a good buy if you can land one here for $350 from my experience. Mine cost a lot more than that.

I have an LSD 3.64 for an E30. Send me a PM if you are interested.
-
I am pretty sure I have one in my lock up. When I searched Real OEM that is listed as an E46 part number and it showed the models it fits. E36 M3 was not on that list Maybe you can check this out and let me know

Go to Paypal and lodge a dispute. Go to the Resolution Centre and lodge a claim that you didn't get your item. You will be very surprised at how fast things will happen The seller has to fix it or Paypal will give you your money back. Make sure you tell them you have tried to resolve the matter of non delivery with the seller. It's all part of the guarantee that Paypal provides and has nothing to do with insurances that have been mentioned in this thread.

WTB Looking for E30 bottlecaps or some cheap basket weaves?
FIAT 131R replied to Wttoddy's topic in Want to buy
Saw some for $100 for a set the other day in Chatto Creek. Is that near you. -
The oil pump in the E46 M3 is dual pick up and the sumps are quite different to most BMW sumps. Give me a call on 021 449 242 and we can talk price. It's a long way short of $1500 I can tell you. I also have the complete bottom end gasket kit. The E46 M3 sump and oil pump are good upgrades for the E36 M3 B32 engines. I have some conversion kits.

A picture of the spacers. I also have 4 stud pattern 20mm spacers for the E30
-
CAN DO THAT PATTERN IN 20MM

One thing that seems to have been missed is that Raj from Beisan in his instructions says that the seals take a little while to settle down and from memory it's 300 miles or something similar so any test straight after installation wouldn't show an accurate performance indicator.

Room to haggle is a bit of a laugh. Try it with BMW. A price of $848 plus GST with discount for a set of BMW S54 rings. I can land them here from the USA for less than half the price after paying GST and freight. I always buy NZ if I can for a reasonable price. There's a few on here can attest that as I buy off them. The big companies here have a take it or leave it attitude and I frequently leave it. Staff are not well informed or trained and prices are high. Stock levels are low or non existent and you have to wait for parts to come from a warehouse in Auckland or overseas and the companies want full retail margins and freight. To retailers who complain about not being able to sell they need to get competitive and if they can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen.

Depending on how much you want to do your self I have an M3 S54 vanos set up I use in my cars. The kit in the picture is a full upgrade on an exchange basis. The oil pump disk has been re-drilled with smaller holes so there is less backlash and helps stop tabs breaking off. The rattle repair kit has been installed in the spiral gear. Beisan O-rings and Teflon seals have been installed in the Vanos head. Upgraded hub diaphragm springs and pressure plates supplied. Upgraded sleeve bolts and upgraded hub bolts supplied. New filter and O-rings installed. There are variations if you don't want the oil pump disk redrilled.

If it's now compulsory for new members then perhaps admin could send out a note promising a 10,000 volt power surge through members computer if they don't update their profile to include where they live or something else of a subtle nature.
-
If it took you two minutes to type Auckland you need to brush on those typing skills. Then again if you are ashamed of where you live that could cause you to ponder.
-
You missed the whole point but that's OK.
-
Just wondering how much time would be saved if admin made it compulsory to give your location when you join this site. I guess I will die wondering.
