  1. Have a number of gearboxes Wellington based.
  2. I am in Ngauranga and have a 32 mm spanner and mallet
  3. You need a 32 mm spanner and a heavy mallet. Where are you in Wellington.
  4. You can get one from ECS Tuning and Turners for about $10NZ plus freight. The BMW parts outfits in NZ would have to be the worst place to try on the planet.
  5. Did I misread something here REAL OEM BOW.html
  6. LOOKS LIKE THE PART # IS 41 12 1 863 345. Seems ECS Tuning have them.
  7. Pretty sure I have 6 and 12. Will check tomorrow
  8. Can do $425 plus freight. Stage 2 clutch kit
  9. I have a full shim kit. Let me know what size you need. I can send them pretty quickly so your car is not out of action.
  10. By the time you pay $3000 plus for freight and pay GST on top of the car price plus freight and then pay for import fees port fees both ends plus customs inspections etc you will have a very expensive car. If you are going to use it on the road you will need it complied and I am not sure it will meet current requirements. Have a look on the NZTA website. There is a category for special interest vehicles and given they are a dime a dozen they may not fit the bill.
  11. I have heard there is a possibility of a 2003 BMW CSL with 46K on the clock coming up in the near future. It's steel gray and in immaculate condition. Not sure where it will be advertised just yet. If anyone is interested I could pass on their details to the owner.
  12. Hutt City European in the Hutt and Page European in town are both good. I take my M3 and the Audi Q7 to either of them.
  13. Brent is there any chance your customer could send me a text so I can have a chat to him. I have been asked a question by the supplier. With English being their second language I haven't got a bloody clue what they are asking and they haven't responded to my request for clarification. Geoff 021 449 242
  14. Some of your commutes are so easy. I have to travel about 30 metres in a straight line. Because of the shape of the road I have to travel about 20 times that distance to get there. I haven't timed it yet or checked fuel consumption as I am too busy during the commute thinking about what I have to do for the day.
  15. It was 308 euro but that was just to get it to the UK. That's $480 NZ. There is then freight from the UK to NZ plus all the fees like inspection fees, import fees on top and GST. It won't be a cheap exercise. I have a V8 auto transmission front section arriving in a couple of days from the US and with modifications will enable the E46 M3 6 speed to fit the M62 engine. Will be interesting to see which is the easiest to go with.
  16. ^^^^ I have just ordered one of the adapter plates. Let's just say it was far from the easiest international transaction I have undertaken. If I was paid on a frustration level I would be rich.
