  1. We have a 8kw Mitsubishi heatpump but it does not compare to our old 8kw Daikin one we had in our old house, it's a bit quieter but the heat even at 31 only takes the chill out of the air, i'll definitely be going to Daikin when this one dies.
  2. So seems like Schumi's pulling through. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/motor-racing/michael-schumacher-latest-driver-showing-moments-of-consciousness-and-awakening-claims-manager-9238179.html
  3. I have the Bosch platinum pus ones (about $100 from SC) they do what they are supposed to do but no real difference from the OEM BMW ones apart from maybe longevity. Maybe doing the Vanos seals while you are doing the plugs and rocker gasket will save you a job later as more than likely that is due/near due, also a tip i got off here is using WD40, rags and a toothbrush instead of degreaser to clean the engine bay works awesome.
  4. Hey guys, how big is the single Vanos ring? I bought one from Beisan and when it arrived it looked a little bit big to me, id say the circumference is about a golf ball (maybe a little bigger) don't wanna pull it too bits and discover it's wrong haha
  5. Google BMW VIN decoder and enter your last 7 digits of your VIN, there are plenty out there but i use the Russian one!
  6. I'm in also if a group buy goes ahead.
  7. This ^^ I did this on one my older cars using some black fabric dye, put it with a small amount of water in a squeezy bottle sprayer thing and sprayed it on all of the fabric trim and seats, came up really well and never came off or marked clothes etc.
  8. I'm sooo pissed at this 4km threshhold. I've been pinged 3 times in the past 2 weeks, one at 106, one at 109 and one at 123km The first one was a police switch-on, the second was a laser that caught me coming downhill (no acceleration) on the motorway and although the 3rd was going a bit fast, it was on a passing lane with about 15 cars behind me all trying to pass a cattle and Fonterra milk truck... All times, there was never going to be an explanation good enough for the police. Anyone who says they are not Revenue gathering is full of it, now to chill for 2 years with 60 points (20 from previous ticket early last year) and a few hundred dollars of fines just fricken annoys me.
  9. I sold my one a few years ago for just over 11k, 80km with full running gear, loom etc
  10. Hi Allan, do you know if either of these will reset Trans Adaptations? Cheers
  11. I've been considering this for the same reasons. I have asked a couple of Q's and from what they said it scans for faults and resets them if you choose. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/tools-repair-kits/meters-testers/auction-666097389.htm Does anyone have any experience with these ones?
  12. Are these ones programmed to our car as well?
  13. Console: Xbox Tag: TonganTorp3edo Games: Madden 25, Live 14, Fifa 14, GTA V, BF4 (Though only jamming BF4 and Madden right now)
  14. Hey guys searched high and low but cant get a definitive answer about what type of trans oil my zf box uses. Can anyone help me out? Cheers Edit - Valvoline Maxlife or Nulon Full Synthetic are LT 71141 compatible.
  15. Only just saw this :drunk: What were you driving? I would have noticed one of yours... or was it a quick beer stop
  16. Looking at changing trans fluid and filter this weekend, am I right to assume that i can reset the trans adaptation by unplugging the battery for a time or do I need to book in to get the dealer to do it?
  17. Yeah I would flip the grate so the curve is upwards and you wouldn't dip into it so much, I had a similar prob at my old house but was the curbing that went down to low... a little bit of quickcrete and a broom fixed it for me the curb was pretty rough like yours and my arguement to the council would have been it looks better now anyway, although TBH if they did hit me up i would have said it was like that when we bought it haha
  18. Thanks for that Glenn, I did a little googling and told him it might be an idea to give our dealer here in Dunners a call and see if they can source the spinner through them.
  19. A friend out of town's ignition wouldn't turn off, the garage he took it too gave him a estimate of $800 to replace... Surely this is too much?! Can anyone gimme a price on one and a rough idea of the labour time? TIA
  20. There are stickied posts on this topic that should answer any Q's you have, i think offset for e46's are generally mid 30's to low 40's!
