  1. That explains why I cannot find mine in there... Discovered this database about 6 months ago.
  2. Yep, shouldn't really be comparing the two, completely different target audience imho. M5/M6 = performance D5/B6 = getting from A to B in comfort (and pretty damn fast still)
  3. Haha spotted you awhile back, thought you were more of JDM type of person I'm on my second beemah now, reckon I've had enough of subs for now at least. Flick me a PM if/when you decide to place an order.
  4. Will do in the arvo, namely a couple of filters as I do not really need anything else. Maybe a set of wipers depending on what they have there. Kind of lean towards genuine after reading a couple of reviews on Bosch etc. Nope, cheaper (with shipping costs factored in)? To be honest I mainly look on ebay for smaller bits and pieces (genuine products).
  5. Anyone from Auckland placing an order? Need a couple of filters but don't want to pay $40 for shipping
  6. I have no issues updating service records in iDrive's service menu , will go under 00000 rather than xxxxxx BMW (i.e dealership). Do 3er have one microfilter or two?
  7. I could certainly live with that and save myself a bit of time... Got quoted nearly $1,100 for a vehicle check/oil change/microfilter replacement. I have addressed the last one with a set of genuine filters for $70 and 20min of my time, saving a few hundreds.
  8. Which means LL-1 can be used?.. What oil are you using as we have similar engines? Not that keen on paying $500+ for an oil change at my local dealership Not that I was going to follow that advice anyway (N54 crowd mind you).
  9. The more I read about this the more I am getting confused. This thread in particular and low/high sulphur comments. From what I can see NZ diesel is low sulphur.
  10. A bit more hijacking sorry. Where do you get your oil filters from? And air filters? eBay or locally?
  11. Do I need to pay much attention to LL-4 vs LL-1? Yep figured that out already.
  12. Alright, looks like either 0W-30 or 5W-30 will be just fine. The problem is that it has to be BMW LL-4 (C3) rated and majority of them are LL-1 only, any suggestions?
  13. Can you get 0W-30 as well? I am assuming that's what I need for a 640D (N57)?
  14. I know it is not an M but I'll grab an Alpina B6 please.
  15. Good to know. Went with Dunlops instead. Got a good deal and ended up paying less than I would for a set of RE003 under thier 4 for 3 promo.
  16. Do you even need Meguiar's SkratchX 2.0 if you're using a regular steel wool?... I mean you can quite happily use some Jiff for a fraction of the price
  17. Was considering S007 too but... they do not come in 20".
  18. I have them installed on mine, Toshiba as well. Should have a how-to pdf that I used somewhere, will have a look for you.

Fark that's a nice selection! Regret selling my IWC pilot, should've just kept it...

Took me a few moment to realise that Family Q wasn't a watch Don't have a barby but can compensate for that with a few watches... a few Breitlings, a couple of Tags, Longines, Seiko MM300 + Tuna can + SLD005, a Tissot and probably something else I keep forgetting about.
  21. You won't be the first one to perform that
  22. Roof racks + bike carrier not an option?
  23. Finally switched to non-runflat tyres. What a change, transformed the car significantly! Went with Dunlop SP SportMaxx 050+ 245/35/20 at the front and 275/30/20 at the rear. Did not realise how massive 275/30 look when off a rim... $350ea fronts, $375ea rears fitted/balanced Would highly recommend Tyretech on Archers road for those in Auckland. Very competitive prices and good service.
