  1. Looks really top-notch, tasteful and gorgeous @Sammo
  2. Hey it has new lights and a great tidy up.
  3. Oh my! Channelling bad-ass ‘80s vibes. Looks amazing
  4. @Bandit that red MT2 went for $62k, after that a couple of charcoal ones with over 200kms went in the early to mid 40s. I think there’s submarkets… MTechs are in their own. That silver MT1 sitting at reduced price down from $70k is a dealer flip I think, he paid around $45k for it in ChCh if IIRC, did nothing to it (including rust on bumper, patched seat trim repairs etc) and took it to Auckland. So far noone has fulfilled his expectations
  5. It is horses for courses and originality, spec, colour, etc all influence things and what someone is willing to pay. A mint and original 4 door can and ? should command more than a rough 2 door that’s a few enhancements, modifications and paint jobs on from its original days. Equally some modifications and enhancements make a particular car worth more. What we do know is mint MTech coupes go for big dollars sigh
  6. Looks really awesome 🚙
  7. Going to look sooooo good @Sammo
  8. I washed the E30 before I meet the new buyer at the airport tomorrow at dark o’clock, then he is driving back to Auckland. I too use the “good coats of polish and two bucket wash method” @Sammo
  9. @balancerider and @Sammo, a good question. A small phase of financial consolidation and trying to avoid “TradeMe + wine + winter boredom” flash purchases! Depends when the Minge sells too, may take a while. Have been winking flirtatiously at @adro’s E30 and it has been giving me the glad eye on the sly.
  10. Indeed Adrian it has sold @adro, it is off to Auckland on Sunday morning. Sold it for bit less than theoretical “worth” which I think itself falls below what I paid for it. Happy enough with the outcome, will be very happy when the GP goes. The buyer did a PPI at Continental BMW which it did well in, which was a worry going into but also confirmed it was sound. I prefer not to sell sight unseen so that gave us both a bit of comfort. Buyer didn’t want the plates Shame we couldn’t get a shoot together with your silver beast
  11. It is cheaper than new, however reflected the niche appeal in the price and thanks for the good wishes @M3AN
  12. Less than 9 months old, Euro plate format with black trims, no holes drllled. $475.
  13. Ooh… there’s an idea. I could throw in a car for barely much more
  14. Maybe I should invest in E30 fabrics instead of E30s? Hehe
  15. Well mine is still floating around for sale. I joined Wastebook to access Marketplace and awesome comments, and have had a few questions and some offers of $22k and $23k. Am not in a hurry but be better if the damned GP would sell
  16. That Mazda is awesome 😎

@Kees ONLY a 997.2… haha that’s an amazing car. My Mum drives a Golf and I was happy with that until now I know a guy selling a 2015 RS265 Megane in P North, well I know of him as he offered me that as a trade on the GP. See the comments. He might be willing to sell it your way.

That’s a fairly short list of European car love bites hehe! Keeping you keen by keeping things interesting is a very tidy GTI Kees, looks nice and they are rare here in NZ. You can get the whine and similar fun from a Cooper S at 1/3 price of a GP, reduction pulley and a few tweaks. And have a back seat. Am not sure which would be less reliable out of that, a GP or your Pug! If you’re in Wellington anytime you’re welcome to pop it around some corners, if I still have it.
