Looks pretty good overall? Battery box seems intact? Original exhaust looking like it has been doing a great job on all of those kms @Sammo

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
E28E30 replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
@E30 325i Rag-Top didn’t even repair the minor panel issues that stop it being outstanding eg surface rust on rear bumper and ding in front valance. I know the fabric is hard to source but those patches look disappointing on a $70k car -

Oh oops @Sammo Sam I didn’t see the above posts. If we are talking “buying at peak E30”, I have the SE garage ornament lol -

Silver MT1 for $70k… https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-3445082787.htm Was for sale in Christchurch late last year for $45k-ish IIRC? Appears to have done nothing to it since then? -

Where is the elephant drain Sam @Sammo?
-
Thank you, that’s awesome @Sammo
-
@Sammo interesting I have the same on my E30. Do they take the door cards off and go in from inside?
-
Alas not the grey GP ones @KwS, these ugly mofos…
-
Aww thanks Sam @Sammo. The PO or one before added the black stripes, some carbon fibre stickers inside and out, some aftermarket gauge faces, chrome rear boot handle, and a few other things. I removed two stripes off bonnet and used eucalyptus oil and Meguiars to try to get glue off, looks bad so will probably reinstall the stripes and call it done. The paint was looking swirly and tired but has come up well, lots of sweat! Some chips on bonnet etc.

Thanks Kelvin @KwS

Groomed the (BMWish) GP today as start of prep to sell when I have it back in Wellington. Looks good from 1m, trying to de-customise some of the appearance “improvements” POs have done. Tomorrow is aircon repair time. 🤔 $$ or $$$ tbc @Sammo had some Meguiars Ultimate Conpound and Autoglym super resin polish on hand, two stages of hand work
-
Thanks Sam @Sammo it isn’t too bad, just needs a tidy up, making a few cosmetic improvements etc to sell sometime soon
-
Wash time with Autoglym, beading nicely!

You’re not hanging around are you @Sammo Sam? Looks awesome, such goodness. Great to see it getting the love. I have to cut and polish my GP, will research your products. Lifting it to perfection one step at a time!

There are many for sale on TradeMe at the moment, maybe $9-12k?
-
Totally same thinking here @GorGasm
-
I like the colour but if manual and if Motorsport then interested. I have never seen an E46 in that colour, think it came out about the time of the first E87s. Sonoma or something like that?
-
What colour is it? Has Individual paint code? Any photos?

Great read thank you and an awesome car for the money

Agree @Gaz
