Yea, could just picture this little oxygen thief slouched low in the pilot's seat, tea cosy on head covering most of his vision, and not fully lowering the undercarriage so he could look cool landing the airplane in a shower of sparks..... :gay:

Gus, if I can find the damn thing you can have it.. took it from a f/l I built up over a year ago. Saw it a while ago but have wrecked 3 more cars lately so the garage is FULL! Apart from BMW's I have a 1500cc Gold Wing in bits too. Will continue the search today... having a small garage sucks! :finger: just checking, you are looking for the oval shaped one that screws into the rhs bumper bracket? William

The fan is actually attached to the water pump, camshaft is right at the top of the motor.Check that your engine mounts are not broken or disintergrated.... can only be a problem with them that causes the engine to drop. Alternatively, check that the fan shroud is properly located in the two slot points at the bottom of the radiator. If you do need to remove the fan, remember that the 32mm nut is a left hand thread and shock it off.

You tell him, Grant!!! :rambo:

Do you mean facelift E30 or E36?Electric fan usually only installed on E30 if you have aircon and will only switch on if the aircon is activated. Temp switches located on the radiator.

They are ivory. Good condition. No rips etc. Just need a clean which I have started doing. They have been standing around for about 8 yrs. What are they worth to you? I am still not sure if I want to get rid of them but... As Brent says, the red/yellow is positive, brown negative. Connecting these 2 wires will make the motors work. Maybe they are heated as well? Look under the seat and take the rear cover off and trace the wires?
