Would not recommend kiwi shipping. Have had no end of trouble with them, gearbox still sitting in their US depot 3 months after it turned up there, multi phone calls, emails, nothing ever gets followed up. Have used shipito and they were pretty good.

If it's a flat battery can you get under the bonnet or Jack the car up so you can get under there and clip a jump battery on to the main feed to the starter.

No, just having a laugh. Lighten up. Sent from my SM-G360G using Tapatalk

Anyone to contact for extra details?

How else do you think the problem was found?
-
Apparently not. Prob depends on the towing company. Had an altercation with the towie outside his yard. Said he's gonna get his boys to stomp my head in, and his girls to stomp my gfs head in. Now the cars gonna be $2k to get out and be locked up for 5 months. Cops turned up as well. If they tow a car at night, should be able to get it back at night. Can't do anything, he's probably tied up with gangs

Fukn towies. Can't get car until 9am, what kind of sh*t is that?

The Facebook pages are sh*t.

Bullshit. Good results can be had from a megasquirt, they get a bad name because they are mostly assembled and installed by monkeys. Any ecu Will perform poorly if installed incorrectly
-
They are drive by wire throttles, so that adds a bit of complexity, unless you change to a cable driven setup.
-
It will be fine, its only counting ignition events in a certain amount of time to calculate RPM.
-
The fuel gauge should be fine, I believe it will affect the economy gauge which will never be correct now anyway.
-
If the car was originally 6 cylinder, would expect it to be reading low. Change to 4 cylinder coding plug, or change whole gauge cluster.
-
Run a ecu that's not stuck in the 1980's. Then you can configure how many tacho pulses per rev required to drive the tacho correctly. Anyway, the 4 cylinder gauge cluster is expecting 2 pulses / rev. 6 cylinder = 3 pulses / rev. It's expecting a 12v square wave signal. Not sure how many pulses you would get from the rotor, you also have leading and trailing so would that not double it?

No conversion is cheap if you use a rooted engine..
