yeah. steve updated me to whats been happening. The company hasn't paid tax for sometime. You can dodge creditors but not the tax man. Everything is under a trust so Geoff just can't own a business for 7 years or soemthing so someone else will have to front and Geoff will be an employee. I feel for the guy alittle bit. I doubt he had much idea how Aaron was carrying on. But he still sat there in court and spewed fourth the same BS Aaron did trying to blame their shoddy work on everything under the sun.

Think this guy summed it up nicely Chapman Moses We can all thank Aaron Lawson for this. He was the most greedy selfish disrespectful a**hole I have ever met. Just kept stripping Geoff of any credit he could've had and rode Geoffs money like their was no tomorrow. That's what happens when you think you're hot sh*t, spending other peoples money to try and look cool in a Drift car paid for by your "Mate". Every second word that came from his foul mouth was "I" "Me" "Myself" because you thought of nothing but yourself you disgusting little f**king rodant. Now that Geoffs money has gone, off to leach off of someone else now aye mate. There are literally thousands of people that are crying out in happiness due to Aaron not being in business anymore, 4 of them are right next to me. Goodluck with your new Ventures Geoff, you're a good man mate - you just had a leach riding your back the whole time. If you ever need anything, just give me a call Geoff.

**Shred Motorsport Ltd formally Shred Industries LTD is now in liquidation** https://www.facebook.com/shredmotorsportnz "We would like to Thank everybody for their support and business over the past 6 years. We have had a great run in what can be a difficult industry. We have built some amazing cars, meet a lot of people, and had a lot of fun. So with that said, I'm sorry to announce that we are now closed for business."

I don't understand why some manufacturers insist on getting this wrong. it's just infuriating.

if the car's OBC hasn't had the fault codes cleared recently having loads & loads don't really indicate loads & loads of problems. Mine had heaps too. It's when you clear them, what comes back. That's a reoccurring problem that need to be addressed. Fingers crossed it's an easy sort for ya.

so he thinks it's just a cam sensor? that's easily sorted.

just pointing out the obvious.

No-one spot the black Vank in the background? sweeet..... ps- i'd say the 5-0 do this so they dont have any issues in getting the shop lifter in the backseat in cuffs.

+1 this. first step. (more than 30mins)

it just seems strange it was running fine, all you did was put gas in it. would it be possible it ran empty and sucked junk from the tank into the fuel filter? does it feel like its struggling to get fuel?
-
ok well. you have the best resources in NZ right here. Get it scanned and move from there. hopefully its something small, like you said it ran perfect until then. what gas did you use?
-
amber this sucks. any chance of taking it back?

E39 M5 has SLS. Go look in your garage.

someone correct me if I'm wrong. But at least some 540's come with self leveling rear suspension. basically once the car starts up it registers there's load in the rear and will raise the back to level the car. It really depends on the car if it was optioned.
-
+1 like anything, but especially older european cars the service history is important. you want to know it's had quality regular servicing and by a reputable place. otherwise you are buying the unknown. when things go wrong they can go expensively wrong. also. if you are buying one with a towbar already make sure you get it checked. Gearbox's can get knackered really easily from lack of service / towing over the rating.
-
hey amber, i think with that weight trailer you are on the right path with a 540i. Driven normally the V8 has pretty decent fuel consumption. I wouldn't want to regularly tow anything that heavy with a 6cyl. Oh I should add. I've owned a e39 for the best past of the last 10 years. As long as you look after them they are brilliant cars.

if only i could justify this to the wife
