No. If anything it's tighter now. They make way more on pies and coffee. BP is NZ's largest coffee supplier (per cup basis). All the profit in the petroleum industry is upstream (exploration).

Higher quality fuels (aka BP98) are just that. a better quality product. The RON rating is independently tested so you as the consumer get what you pay for. The differences between Gull / callenge 91 and for example Mobil / BP 91 are that Gull buy in and therefore have no hand in the quality. They buy just on price and you get what they buy in. This generally is the cheapest stock they can find. The big players control their own supply lines therefore make better quality products. They have reputations and large supply contracts to fulfill they need quality supply. Average "Jo Public" at the local BP service station gets the same product but retail competition is so, that profit on petrol on is very low. They all make more money on the coffee / pies and softdrinks customers buy at the same time. Hence why the stores have become more convenience stores over the last 20 years. Long story short. Like anything you get what you pay for. If you have a high performance car, or you keep cars longer term, go for the best you can get. If you have a old junker, or switch cars regular like, I wouldn't care so much as long as it meets manufacturer spec (minRON).

replace LED blub with one that guarentees "euro error free" (ie- has correct resistor already installed)

Challenge buy in. There's no real way to work out whom produced it. Even the big players allow their competition to resupply from their tanks if they are short so supply is guaranteed. A sale is a sale. There's supply chain sharing as NZ is too small to support each player maintaining the infrastructure, this has been a bonus for the consumer as we have a very competitive market despite our size. It isn't true that any tanks are linked, each player spends alot of R&D as their special additives are what distinguish their product. You have no idea of the real origin of your tank, nor if it will be consistently the same going forward. Just enjoy it while you can.

No. Not even close. It's like the best barrista made coffee. Cold. In a little bottle.

For all those coffee aficionado's amongst us. If was lucky enough to taste two sample bottles of Dancing Goat coffee. It's like supercharged, intensified complex coffee flavours. Almost too much to drink alone. They have done a fantastic job. A drop of milk, or in a cocktail of some descript. Check it out. http://www.dancinggoat.co.nz/kapiti-roasted/

hilarious. You sir need a medal. Or a good divorce lawyer. I'm not sure which yet.

from reading I'd say you are on the right track. I'd pick either a old line or a master cylinder issue. Everything else is steel lines.

Nice! black facelift is where it's as. Seems to have a A/M plastic lip added to the front?

that. would be a serious handful i honestly don't understand this emphasis on massive power figures. It's mostly unusable. I had a 650hp GTR. That was 4wd and running 265 series semi slick tyres. Even on medium boost (480 odd hp) I would struggle for traction in anything less than 4th gear. Most of the time I could only use a very little % of throttle to keep the car moving forward. This thing would be so much worse. You would struggle to get traction in this only anything less than a prepped drag strip. Add in no cage and it would be a very scary preposition. Probably why he's selling.

hahahahahha... yeah something like that. whilst moving it almost looked like there was no wheel spoke. It was very strange. The massive red brakes certainly were required.
-
spotted also in Singapore. Black 7 series with what has to be the weirest wheels ever. They are a single chrome 'blade', sorry for the sh1t picture. like, yes ? / no? I can't decide. It certainly made an impact.

i think it's under "I'm old and sh*t annoys me"

Yeah. Crazy stuff. Car + 100% tax + $60k rego + few other things.... So as it sits that's probably 500k M6

Spotted in Singapore. So you know it cost a packet to register there. AC schnitzer M6 Grand Coupe.
-
Harsh environment around here. Plus the throw away mentality. It seems after a biffo they just push the car to a side road an abandon it. Theres been a late model Audi A8 round the corner from our accomodation with the front stoved in since we got here.
-
I've seen a few nicely done E30's eat just couldn't get the camera out quick enough. I'll see if I can snap a few more pics.... On the flip side. In Dubai. They were all real. Lol.
