  1. Bugger, better throw them in the bin then.
  2. Great. Will give you a call to discuss in the next day or two.
  3. I heard, at least there are upgrades around like the N1 spec. What if they are running at 8 psi peak? - stock actuators are setup for about 12-14
  4. Well an M52 is more simple, E36 spec etc. M54 is a whole new ball game I suspect.
  5. Revising my thoughts on the M50B25 option for making my car 'stock' again. I forgot how much nicer the torque delivery of the 2.8 engine is, it has got me thinking... who has a 2.8 engine and potentially a manual setup to suit? Throw me some figures / pics of what you might have.
  6. Picked this E36 1998 wheel up today Very tidy condition, just a few marks on the top right side. Airbag intact, probably works? Curious to know what these units are worth approx? I might re-used it for my 325i stock rebuild... Not sure yet! Pictures:
  7. GET THESEEEE!
  8. I ran them plus limiters - stupid and way too stiff. Just went back to M3 bushes and limiters - good setup allowing some movement.
  9. Great car. They look so cooooool with the top down.
  10. I should prob search, but how much would it take to run this with an M50 block?
  11. Hi Chaps I think I might re used my E36 shell make it back into a stock spec E36, with an stock BMW engine etc since most of it is still there. Who has a cheap engine package available with long block, headers, ecu, loom, etc plus 5 speed auto? Options are M50B25, M52B25, M52B28 etc. PM me for details!
  12. Great sounds Oh so no more M3, 335i time?
  13. So shiny! Meanwhile I bought some turbochargers this morning.
  14. Hehe nope. Far too exciting. I have an idea with how it shall look with an alloy black diffuser that integrates to the stock bumper, something like this. Now I need to find the right tips, oh wait I just sold them to you haha Might be using x4 335i tips, they're quite cool. Just need to find two more
  15. So spacious! ^ New floor for the boot
  16. This is a very tidy car indeed, I had a good look at it recently. Even more well presented than some E46 M3s I've seen!
  17. Mmmm, reportedly under 1500kg by BMWs own spec sheets.
  18. Yep. More efficient so I've read. Quieter too. Electric fans are noisy bloody thinks. My hydrofan in the E36 with the 1UZ was nearly silent. "The hydraulic drive can draw more power from the engine than an electric fan, and thus move more air through the radiator for more effective cooling. And compared to a directly-driven unit, the hydro fan’s speed isn’t dependent on engine speed—the solenoid that controls the flow of hydraulic fluid through the fan motor can opt to run the fan on high speed as the engine idles, for example, or completely freewheel the fan on the highway"
