Yeah they would have been ruined examples for sure... There were many wasted good, normal cars in the American Cash for clunkers program 5 -6 years ago. Youtube has plenty of footage of some really nice cars that could sell for good money back in NZ.

Awesome! I just copied the Vorshlag style for my 1UZ V8 E36, not a bad mount design, but it does transfer a bit of vibration... Did you not consider the LS1 going into an E46? That was probably my biggest regret with the conversion using an E36, just don't feel anywhere as a nice as an E46 as an overall car.

Looking for a plastic fan shroud for the 335i turbo E90 model. If its broken thats okay, let me know what you might have! Not sure if the other E90 models are similar? 330i etc?

You also risk total engine failure if not done correctly. Even then I suspect it's not such an engine suitable for boost like most BMW engines in modern years. (Pre their stock turbocharged ones) Plenty of Turbo Japanese engines you could swap in place with effortless reliability.

So that means with tolerance we could do ~120kph down the faster safe roads? The best cruising speed imo.

Yeah, to be honest I am not surprised these sorts of things go on. I'd be livered if I was in your shoes. A 5km drive is enough to drive a car cold, thrash it and do some damage.

It uses lifetime oil so you don't need to ever change it, unless you want the gearbox to last more than BMWs 'lifespan' of the gearbox that is

Keep in mind you do have a Z3, not a 5 series so you are going to feel a lot more of the road in general
