  1. Coolant tank install, loom wiring into the cabin etc. Such fun to do it all again 3 years later!
  2. What the actual fu! They clearly are invincible...
  3. haha, nah I now have sporty 328i shocks and Rotors
  4. Put the V8 back in the e36 last night with 4 speed auto attached. Now to wire and plumb it up again. hehe (I'll be selling it as a whole car soon)
  5. I wondered what was in that E30 haha. Seems the a/f ratio is out to lunch! Sensors not reading right / damaged?
  6. JPC-Trade or Tradecarview are handy. Helps to know people directly in the Japanese trading otherwise it can be a bit fiddly if you havent done it but not that bad.
  7. C6 models are nice. Id have one. But probably not.
  8. New plan as of today, so the V8 engine mounts and subframe have gone back in tonight! Restoring the car to it's former 340i title and putting it on the market for sale shortly thereafter
  9. Haha, what a joke. $26,000 is what I read
  10. Weren't tempted to get her a Lexus IS220d?
  11. Indeed, good call.
  12. IMO, one of these would be like giving an S50 asthma They come on 2.4L Previas and put out 160hp...260nm in supercharged form. Says a lot right there.
  13. Does this mean you might keep the V12 after all if it works as new? haha..
  14. But it cost 250k new so it all makes sense.
  15. Good news! Much performance difference?
  16. While a nice idea you're really just pushing sh1t up hill. They are quite a fiddly project and it becomes a matter of are you just mucking around or trying to do a legitimate upgrade. If I was to give a serious crack at it a more modern watercooled Eaton m90 setup could work nicely.
  17. Very cool looking indeed. Good work.
  18. ^ You will find Magnaflow mufflers are very good quality Ron, as good as OEM specification in many cases. Its flowmasters that are the rubbish ones designed for american v8s. But yeah I'd go 2.25 or 2.5 tube with an M62

    5 Million

Block of land somewhere up around Silverdale way, garage with live in area, enough space for 10+ cars Probably buy a bunch of BMWs and put Toyota engines in them (jk) Work on a weird house to live in adjacent to garage.
  20. Its a facelift and 1996 build which points to it being a 3.2 Vin check also says its 3.2 http://www.etk.cc/bmw/EN/vin/decoder/EX65811/EN/ Regardless, its way to pricey imo, perhaps around the 15k-16k mark for a good E36 M3 Cab.. to me they aren't worth as much as a hard top.
  21. I thought I could be missing something being new to such stuff. Would I be better to run a basic 4-1 log manifold? Or better yet try to do an equal length 4-1 with a single merge just before the turbos?
  22. Hi peoples. Selling my 1UZ-FE - E36 conversion kit again, priced dropped to $2600, PM me if you have any interest! Trade Me: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=756664928 Pic: Any interest or questions give me a PM or call 022-308-2594
  23. Had a chat with Ray about this today, it will sure be quite the project. Perhaps the ultimate project even? The touring E46s might just be my favourite shape.
