Ooo nice score Brent!
-
Cool Julian, hope it makes a nice note!
-
Cool. Unfortunately Ill only be there 10-11.30am as I have open homes 12-2.45pm. Couldn't get off apparently. Sigh!!
-
Welcome Richie my pal. That rear end is looking much sweeter without the dirty tow bar! Will we be seeing you at the meet on Sunday this weekend?
-
Indeed, Happy Birthday to you Josh.
-
Probably get sent back to Aston Martin or something???
-
^ haha, is that primer paint or some kind of weird paint job??
-
Ah yes I've read so. However I recall someone saying the RPM figures were slightly off on the day though?
-
I thought all the cars were run 1:1 on the dyno? I know mine was as i set it up to do that in 4th gear.
-
Great little runners Christian, I just picked up our 9th Corolla for our Royal Oak Ray White team today haha. Yours must be the 1.5 1NZFE version? they're quite nippy but do suit being manual rather than auto!
-
Unfortunately the dyno didn't support that part of the graph for that day.. I was a bit gutted as I really wanted to know what was going on torque-wise. Cheers Dan, perhaps some inspiration for your track hack beast! The dual exhaust was the whole idea of the project funnily enough, I just wanted a sweet sounding V8 E36 and it evolved from there. Cheers Edward.. I forget there's some skill here, I guess a lot of it has just come second nature to me... I wonder if there are ways to turn any of this into a profitable dollar? But then I'm reminded it's fun while its a hobby Most people ask if I'm a mechanic or that I should be one when I show them haha!

Yeah too right, might be an idea to do... well see!
-
Indeed, I suspect the past owner must have persisted to find those vaders!
-
Photo update on page one! Also here's my dyno run. Not bad for a stock 1UZ engine running only 4-2-1 headers.
-
Wires.. wires everywhere! Are you running new wires or just re running the old ones from the stock loom to the ECU?
-
Mmmm interesting read Josh. I've always been quite aware of such issues, stick to genuine Toyota coolant and use demineralised water only. I must check if my radiator is grounded at all... It shouldn't be.

Very nice! Welcome to the forum

Jeevan 'The Juggernaut' in his E34 Touring going through Greenlane earlier today.
-
I like it alot, it looks more like the E36-E46 size, somewhere in the middle almost.
-
Mmm I've seen that too, sweet looking car!
-
I'll say, it's pretty off putting! Especially on leather where dog and cat claws easily scratch into it.
-
I respect these as a car but they don't really interest me at all, I'd rather spend what they cost on building up a nice E30, E36 or E34 etc
-
Looking good Julian, I had my interior inside the house a few months back haha!
-
Like the idea of the 528i E34!
