As a fellow E36 owner I feel the need to say something here too.
-
HPC coated headers back on,
-
Mmm, I saw that the other day. Most interesting what he had to say, but not really too surprising.

Well this has taken shape nicely, coolest compact I've seen! What wheel combo are you going to use to fill the guards?
-
Nice, doing a drop tank setup or something?
-
Has your rear tire well been removed?
-
What a defeatist attitude! Search harder!
-
Nice work! Care to put up some pictures of the installation?
-
Good news isn't it? E36 time!
-
HA. But yeah, as what 3pedals said.
-
My favorite!

Welcome Ben. That looks to be a fine E36 M3, well done!

I must say the trouble is the UK vs NZ release soundtrack differences The UK versions music editors are VERY selective with certain tracks & it can do wonders in making a review that much more dynamic, then for god knows what reason the NZ versions on prime loose all that careful selection for a bunch of seemingly 'random' tracks to accompany the reviews.

Debatable. If anything, they are on par.

Similar to TSW VX1s... except even weirder/cheaper looking.

Interesting one... I'd like to think it's good being sourced from Japan but now days there are products out there that ride on the 'Made in Japan' or 'Made in Germany' image of them instantly being a good product, yet are just generic cheap products repackaged in a cunning way or just made cheaply from the beginning. As whats been said above, you're probably best to stick to tried and proven oils on the market with widely available servicing track records & reviews which also have the proper ratings your specific car requires.

Got some relatively clean telemetry during a test run, really useful for diagnosing, in this picture it shows the gears cycling through up to just over 100kph from a standing start... 0-100kph in 5.80 seconds... I think that's right on the money for a 270-280hp 1UZ in a 1450-1500kg loaded E36 with me & fuel inside etc. An aftermarket ECU with a performance oreintated tune & shorter final drive with LSD center will hopefully level things at the 5 second flat range, maybe even high 4's with the right figures.

Didn't you already have a nice E36 not too long ago Sam?
-
Damn I read about that, didn't see any pictures though... what carnage!
-
Haha, yes, I've seen that too. It's diabolical
-
Yeah it's probably an neglected system, bad pump, air in the lines, bad coolant with impurities or blockages, even the sensor could be stuffed. To be fair, the figures are ok for such a car, but damn they are unsightly, would you want to be seen in one of those?! Stick to the E36!

I think it's great to get the kids making things rather than just buying nasty expensive toys. Good work!
