  1. I am after a RHS drivers piper arm in good condition. Ideally one that is corrosion free. Let me know if you have one and how much, pick up in Auckland preferred.
  2. Ooo the Middle East. How intriguing. Thats good you on sold it to someone that will continue to enjoy it. I'll keep my eye out for any M3s that come up for sale.
  3. Oh my, what happened to the 540i Nick? Hah! I've seen that for weeks in the paper. What a dreamer. Maybe if it had done 1/10th of those KMS... 28k could be justified.
  4. Pelican parts are a bit cheaper, I've got some on their way with a few other oem new parts.
  5. Perhaps your torque converter is slipping dramatically.
  6. About this time last year I thought about supercharging my M50B25 since it was iron with a big old GM M90 I had at the time. But then I decided the V8 conversion was a better idea. Nearly there a year on!
  7. Hello. So I have heard in the past that stainless braided brake lines are illegal in some situations. I was looking to up grade my E36 old rubber brake lines since they are getting tired. Instead of just going for new OEM brake lines, I thought I may as well go one step further and get some Troutman braided lines which are Dot 4 approved. (Model: PLB533106D) I will be having the vehicle certified later next month, so would these Troutman lines be passable in the certification? Or will I run into trouble since they cant be inspected visually due to the steel jacket?
  8. Never mind, oddly enough I just found one one Ebay in the UK!
  9. Hmmmm well I am after the shift position indicator that sits in the SMG M3 E36 dash next to the SMG button, I believe the part is the entire part that sits bellow the OBC See it here circled in red. Anyone got or seen one of these for sale? Rather rare!
  10. That was quite a pile up you had! Best looking Jeep I've seen. Well done mate.

    What to do...

I would only made some like that if they were made by Bosch.
  12. Oh yeah I see what you're getting at. Fair point!
  13. Totally agree. A well sorted factory style 2000-2001 E38 looks superb. They are one of my favorite BMW designs.
  14. I have here for a sale a set of unused Topman (Austrian) branded Engine mounts for an E36 M50/M52. Purchased them through one of the forum sponsors last year but never used them, cost me $240 for the pair! After $120. 021-02425794 Trade Me
  15. Ah so that guy that had it here must have traded it in for something else?

  19. Ha. I think this clip has really passed it's used by date 100 times over by now.
  20. Not quite sure what you're getting at with that. Are you saying it's under powered? You must not forget that the CL500 of that era was just the 'entry level' of that higher end range Mercedes model, the power and torque it made was perfectly fine for the market it was targeting, 225kw was plenty for it's intended purpose. If someone wanted a more sporty go hard machine they have the options of the Mercedes V8 supercharged/ V12 Twin turbo etc.
  21. Word. I'm at a loss with this whole ordeal. I always assumed buying a 330i would be easy, the market it swamped with them... if you can only get a rough one then maybe you can't afford one so get a 328i instead, plenty of those or even a 325i, they are all the same 4 door car at the end of the day - compromise, and get a slightly less powerful version that is cheaper!
  22. I'd make it into a pseudo DTM car.... like a pace car. Couldn't imagine it being particularly sporty though... quiet heavy aren't the early 2000s CLs? .
  23. Why where going that fast in an old clapped out car around a corner presumably in the rain?
