  1. ^ Ooo a 1UZFE into what car sir? I haven't been doing much lately, it's been too cold to work on the V8. Plenty to do this Saturday & Sunday though.
  2. Yeah definitely. When I had the cage in my car it was fantastic, the body was dramatically more rigid. After having it in for six months I got quite used to so it felt pretty soft once I took it out in favor of a leather interior. With the modifications you've done it's certainly going to be a fantastic handling machine!
  3. Ohhhh this is your E36 James. Commendable work! So this 328i will basically become a road going, roll caged track car? (That was my goal with my car, before I removed the cage I put in last year Haha)

I'm one of those people that joined a gym, went for a month and have hardy been back since. Farking useless..... Although I plan to change my bad habits this summer.

    FS: SOLD

Wow, very nice. And only 8k! Somewhat better value than my 340i...
  6. It will run, but the engines were designed for optimum efficiency with a high octane/quality fuel. So by using 91 you will probably get less mileage out of the same quantity of fuel if it were 95 or preferably 98. My advise would be, stick with 95.
  7. Connecting bits here and there. Yawn

Yeah its getting there, as of now the steel work is about 75% to height and the cladding is little over 50%. That shot was taken in August. A shame about the Grand Chancellor, not really an attractive building, but never the less its a business thats been lost. In saying that, it was hugely fortunate it's structure remained intact, especially when it showed serious signs of failing shortly after the quake - who knows how many people there could have been inside it and in surrounding structures.
  9. An Impreza... with a V10... HA.

Fantastic. Did you check out the progress on the new World Trade Center. It's taking shape finally!
  11. Id suggest any 525i < 535i < 540i Just depends how fast you want to go, and how much your wallet allows you to spend on the car and on keeping it going. Just buy a decent one first, and it will pay off in the end. I'd like the idea of buying one... I just feel I should buy a newer smaller car.
  12. So.... I took my carpet out to do some unrelated work this afternoon. Upon taking out the passenger foot well section of the carpet I came to find the foam underlay was completely soaked, so much so you could squeeze and water would almost gush out. I couldn't be any wetter! Interestingly I had the carpet out this time last year and it was perfectly dry in that section. Any ideas what is going on here? My assumption there are block drain holes - but where? Has anyone else experienced this?
  13. Ill need to consult a engineer certifier but where do you guys think the safety loop(s) should go based on the requirement On my car it looks like this basically It goes GB- Flex disk --------- front shaft -------- spline - hanger bearing - universal ----------rear shaft ------- universal -- diff So what letters corresponds to the best placement of the loop(s)? Obviously I need one for the front shaft, A B or C... Not sure if I will need a second loop for the rear shaft as its already supported by the stock rear brace.
  14. 305ks... previous big crash? Run...
  15. Fantastic. I quite like the CLK range, an AMG version is very eye catching, especially in recent years. (CLK63!)

    Supercar lol

5.2 liter 8 rotor. Hmmm good luck with that.
  17. That would be the way to go... although that would possibly mean seats out and the carpet. Oh well I shall get a couple and stick them in weekend, may as well do it for safety (and save time being told I need them)
