Extremely Poor Experience with Smith & Smith
Michael. replied to Auzeras's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I would NEVER use them, heard many problems. Just comes down to the muppets that don't care or have the right workmanship for such work. Very sad. -
I thought those were your oil drip buckets for a moment.
-
Yeah. It's like they just run out of ideas and start fiddling.
-
A Landcruiser is where its at. 4.5 TDi V8.
-
Muppets that brake down on highbrook drive, causing a huge motorway f**k up between Princes St / Otahuhuhuhu and Highbrook. Argh.
-
Im sure Jezza could help
-
Replacing all the stereo capacitors. Done half of the receiver unit. Then it will be time to do the pre amp, then the amp, then the sub amp. Fun!
-
Beautiful!

^ But cyclists don't have brains so it rather goes hand in hand.

What is a first world problem?

Josh always does flawless work. A do it once do it right kinda guy
-
I suspect its the awful plate scaring people off.

http://mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/index.html The tests can be so ambiguous I find, it's really hard to know what you're dealing with.

The Apexi power intake filter is the only one I would use. From what I've seen it offers the best filtration, ahead of K&N
-
Depends how good each individual filters performance is. Good Filtration while allowing good flow... that balance is the key. Actually just getting more cold air to the intake should be the main focus. I would trade a small amount of power if I knew my intake air was being filtered properly.
-
I would opt for the Style 73s, they're the most classy style and compliment the E46 touring shape.
-
Just keep in mind you will loose the comfortable 7 series ride quality if you do this.

E36 328i supercharger install
Michael. replied to BM WORLD's topic in Forced Induction & Performance Tuning
Looks like a bit of fun. 1G-GZE Supercharger. They used them in the 2L six Crown / Chaser / Cresta models in the late 80s 1420cc, not too bad, should flow enough air for a 2.8L. -
My goodness. How interesting. Was this not the one with the knocking issues?
-
What will one do at the zoo?

Agreed, Audi seem to have evolved really nicely with the frontal impact design requirements. I dont think the same of BMW or Mercedes, the designs have become.... odd to say the least. Bring back the days of jutting out bumpers and lower bonnet lines!
-
Nah just chose one from their universal range that had the right specs. Which bush position on the rear arm is bad?
-
Yeah, they've really pulled out the beige card on these ones. Quite contemporary, which kinda suits Mercedes - but definitely a step down from the W204 Facelift.
-
Best solution will be to find out what size you need and get a nolathane unit from www.nolathane.com.au I did this on my car when I couldn't get the right size shock - LCA bush.

It's awesomely funny whatever it is.
