  1. Pretty sure they already have a CAI. If ya like the noise then go for it. Highly unlikely to be any better than stock.
  2. Cant you just upload to whatever then link?
  3. You want the ally clip in pieces right? I have a set in glorious fake wood. Should be pretty cheep cheep. The selector trim is from a manual though.
  4. Dude, it's a piece o' piss. There are very few specific requirements other than material and some form of baffling. 2mm Ally 1mm Stainless 1.3mm Mild steel. Weld a box, with a large flange around the top to mount, with some foam or baffles inside. Frame in boot to mount. Done.

    The bastard child.

Was a bit bummed with it. Anyway, was a nice day today, so thought I'd wash some of the pine pollen off that gathers this time of year. Cursed stuff. Dropped it on its wheels, towed it outside, washed it. Feel betterer. Aaaannd threw a battery in it to test some stuff. Decided to check out the fuel pump to see if I could find a reason why it wasn't triggering and no earth! Fixed that. Springs into life. f**k it. Plug the missing coolant sensor in, throw some gas in it. Fuel pump works, builds pressure and stops just like it's supposed to. Flick key to start. Raaaaaa. f**king stoked. Idles smooth, revs nicely, sounds crisp (through no exhaust ha). Win.
  6. Gbox you're looking for is a ZF s5d 310z.
  7. Ring Ray@HellBM. Has what you need.
  8. Not part of the E39 V8 club till you've done your alt.

And on WOFs. When Datsum 120y can get a WOF, but a brand new car with a small chip in the windscreen cant, then yes, they are a joke. Closer to home, Queensland doesn't have a compulsory safety check on their cars unless said car is changing hands. Place doesn't seem to be falling to bits.

How? Compulsory insurance means that all those people whom the insurance co didn't want to cover are now covered. Calculate the new premiums on that basis. I'll most likely hold third party, fire and theft on it. It's a calculated risk and I'll self insure it given the likely premium. PS, it's not that valuable money wise.

Some of you seem to have a misunderstanding of what CTP is in Aus. It is a liability insurance. NOT a property insurance. Visit My Website We have ACC for this, payed through Relicencing and fuel excise tax.

Well, if you guys want to pay double for your insurance premiums rather than the odd excess, then go for your life. Personally, I'm tired of being expected to take responsibility for other peoples short-comings. Since when was it the Govt job to run our lives? FFS.

I agree with this 100%. And I don't know why people continuously demand compulsory cover. If you have something worth insuring, a comprehensive policy covers it. Where's the problem?
  14. E36 328 over the M3. Reasonable power with M50 manifold and much cheaper to replace when it lunches itself. Throw a lightened flywheel and decent clutch in it, short E30 LSD, some decent suspension (you dont _need_ coilovers), strip it out, throw some seats in it, E46 brakes and spend the rest of the time trying to break it. Easy.
  15. You did press the volume knob to turn it on, right?

    Nice work James.
  17. The 328 though right? Find the light steering in the 330 a pain. Quite like these as a wagon....ahem.

    The bastard child.

Clears are for e46s and fags Anyway, Atta's partly right. The mistake was made a further back while the body work was being done. What should have happened is the area under the side of the bumper needed to be filled smooth so the side part of the bumper could have been cut short like this As it is the bumper's cutting the car in half and looks wrong, see this most excellent example of the art of photography. Soooo, no choice but to colour code them red.
  19. Probably ha. See also Rollers using Austin(?) lights ect. Just how it worked way back when. Pretty sure those round Ferrari lights were a standard Hella unit shared around too.
