Any updates on this??

I think you got the wrong setting and hit the 'reply 5 times option' LOL As with all strange/annoying noises a car makes: 'if in doubt ring it out' A bit of overly spirited driving seems to make all the noise go away in our family wagon...

Would look best on a certain E36 Turbo me thinks.......

Like the ECU wiring. Will have to book mark for when I get there (again). So have you had it tuned? or just DiY road tuning it? Still keen to come for a perv at some stage.

Friend has one that reads almost the same but with ~220km and black. So far he hasn't had any prob's, just continued with routine maintenance, and has done the 'swirl flap' delete on it. He also has a E46 330d 6spd (Motorsport) same deal. -
Pretty sure they are fakies, the JWL stamp/casting is usually a giveaway. And per on of your links above, the genuine ones have the part number etc... cast/stamped onto them.

[OT] Might pay to check that width. If you've measured yourself you most likely have not measured bead to bead, which is where a wheel width is measured. NOT outside to outside. The wheel will also have the diameter and width stamped in the centre, where you've read the et15 & RC302. Did you get these from Ben here in Welly? [/OT]

I am guessing the 335i doesn't have a flex fuel sensor and/or the ECU capability to use one, thus the content testing kit?
-
Attached to the wipers. Common mod for Rally Car to do. The wifes Stagea has them mounted on the wiper arm, 4 jets on each, does prob' the best job I've seen.
-
Nice work, some snappy progress there. Are you in Wgtn/Hutt?
-
meh, the wifes Stagea engine bay looks more interesting, it has a 'power duct' Def. no S50/S54 to look at, might as well be a Hilux Surf with an M-Power badge.... At least it will go like stink.

Sunday Activity: Post Photo of your BMW as it sits now

coming together slowly.... -
Turbines and T-stars are both handed to suit the wheel rotation on the left / right side of the vehicle. The face of the turbines are all the same, but there is a 'fan' type part that sits behind this (can see in brents pic above) directing air to the rotors.

With an engine putting out that much torque, you are best off doing an E46 M3 rear-end swap. Has the bigger 210mm diff, but can't imagine it being easy to find the complete rear-end. Make sure you get plenty of pics up for us!!
-
I was actually thinking, when you get sponsored, order 20m and hook a brother up, as I need 10m also *LOL* Get some pics of the new intake up!!
-
Yep, Top work there. Can't wait to see/hear some vids of it in action. Got to have a but, can't be blowing you too amny kisses... I reckon some orange indicators front/rear would look good. And get rid of the 'pool noodle' roll-cage padding, and use some nice SFI stuff: (on the rhs)
-
Interested in your 'standalone' development and would be of real use here!! Let me know where the band-wagon is stopping next...
-
Great work, and a V.nice looking unit!! Does this use the standard OBDII coms? Could one use it with the links of the ne Link G4+ ECU's that have OBDII connections. Do you have plans for a 'universal' unit? With user defined sensors / calibrated inputs etc...
-
Surely that is the sensible option. Best move this to the 'projects' section ASAP

Good tyre brand for e30 14 inch basket weaves?
E30-323ti replied to louistan3's topic in Wheels & Tyres
Back in the day, I had some 195/60 Nankang EX601's on my 323GTX, I was genuinely surprised at how well they performed, we even put them on our EVO I (in 15" of course). I presume they are a long discontinued tyre though.... -
Like Crunchcy has in his E34.....
-
Nice Colour Indeed!!

Don't forget Moto GP finale on Sunday Night (11pm start IIRC) I'm happy with SD, as it is still far better than the alternative, ND
-
IIRC Westys' are high offset E36/46 fitment. The widened guards are due to the wider E46 undercarriage than the rims themselves. Agreed - does look bloody good!!
