  1. Looks like they are on a E38 y'all, thus the balloon spec tyres... (Prob' 235/50's) RK002's are also an ET13 offset for those interested, NFI if they have a 74.1mm CB to suit E39's also, someone else can learn how to use google!
  2. Well there you go Michael. Crank the mad excel skilz and get us a nice power & torque graph whipped up for AM viewing at the office with the morning coffee
  3. I'm sure our power bill went up when ours was put in.... The old whirly-gig one probably had dry bearings and ran slow. Haven't 'used it' for anything cool. Would need some fancy smart fridge or the like to gat much out it.
  4. Typically fat AFR's you see from the stock Toyota ECU. It would be interesting to see what gains a simple 'sender bender' (like an SAFC or UAFC) would do if you could keep the AFR's up +4500rpm. Did you get a plot of the Torque curve too?
  5. Agree, Love the Ti. And the E34 needs a turbo and to be a wagon / Tow weapon!!
  6. The Service Indicator Board - pretty Xmas tree lights in the dash that tell you the oil needs to be changed. It has rechargable batteries, these die / leak / make a big mess often and the board/batteries need to be replaced (or bypassed) for the dash to start working again. Pelican have a write up here Search the net a bit more and there will be heaps of pics also.
  7. Is the temp gauge not working either?? SI Board Battery will probably be dead / leaking / corroding the circuit board. I do have a pic of how I bypasses the SI Board, but I think mine was a motometer cluster, so not sure if it will work on a VDO one.....
  8. Looks like I got it right. Just need to pick up some taps to thread the holes in the steel bits and get some nice cap screws. And weld them on of course.
  9. Hey Chris. I've been watching your build/revisions of, on E30tech for years also with interest. Some great results you're getting out of it now. The seat is dummy mounted up and getting a few parts water cut at present (should pick up in the AM) to hang the steering column, then it's onto the pedal box. Thought it would be good to future proof things, and go for a 2pc design, so a change of column can be easily done. Little blue bits will be steel, to weld to the dash bar, and the red, out of Alloy, for weight savings (bahahahaha)
  10. If you are not worried about ABS Sensor rings, they are the same as E28 front wheel bearings. As Mops said, search the net, there are a few peps who have adapted/sleeved the E30 Spindle for E34/36 wheel bearing/hubs to be used. [poke]Mops, you prob' wouldn't like a stock E30 M3 either then, as factory they don't have the front wheel centred in the wheel well....[/poke]
  11. Dam, where was this 2yrs ago!!! Bump for the great pricing / opportunity for a fellow racer to get into a good chassis.
  12. That's what I thought, but is merging & cropping not 'post' ?? [/pretending to know jack about phot's] Looks Hawt Regradless
  13. Nice work. So when you go with a G4+ will you also go e-Throttle, and get those lovely downshift blips? Just out of curiosity, is all the gearbox controller programming usable on all of the toyota 5sd auto's? or just a 1uz A650 combo?
  14. Sorry if this is a repost folks, but some good nostalgic footage here (in 4 parts): http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/monaco-monza-macao-wellington-1990 Enjoy.
  15. Nevermind all their other listings.... need a job that give me more disposable $$$ dam'it
  16. whilst embarassily kept in check by a pair of auto *JZ powered Toyota taxis..... Still a good watch.
  17. hmm, looks nice. I always thought the early E24's were based on the E23 7'er platform....
  18. 1991 Toyota Levin GT Apex Like this, but with uber nice 16" enkei wheels and a Trust Zorst Actual car now
  19. So what's the plan for this one... How is the E-dirtys facelift coming along...
  20. Also check the HT leads. One (or 2) may be cracked near the sparkplug due to the heat from the zorst, and arching out to the head.
  21. *Drool* But what are those blasphemous wheel weights doing on the lovely dish of the Style 5's!! That's just criminal!!
  22. I voted 16's (16x8's with 225/45's on all 4) But depends mainly on style and NOT running 'rubber band' tyres.
  23. Looks like the front end of mine now!!! except your engine is too far forward
  24. Nice work!! So we'll see some vids of it 'cruising' soon.... Why no ride height notations on the cert' plate??
