Yeah it looks very good, I saw a photo of it sometime ago in an actual location (not a rendering), apparently it was a photoshop using the E92 M3. I'll try to find that photo. Here it is:
-
Damn... sorry to hear Brian. Is insurance going to fix it?
-
But it's being sold by the Jerry Clayton group right now, isn't it? They imported it and the TradeMe account is theirs. Nothing to do with Jerry Clayton BMW.
-
I think this is Jerry Clayton's own company and has no connection with Jerry Clayton BMW. Last I heard, the Jerry Clayton BMW dealership is only using Jerry Clayton's name, it was sold long ago to Sime Darby or some other Singaporean/Malaysian company, I can't remember.

Welcome Andy How'd you find the forum? Great collection and I like the CSL plate, must be very hard to get.
-
Hahaha Simon do you really hate the colour that much! So if someone gave you one you wouldn't drive it? It's Phoenix Yellow btw. I actually quite like the CF bits.
-
Seen that car in the flesh a couple of times, I think he'd get more interest if he removed the stripes. Imola Red is a fantastic colour and the stripes make it look so bad.
-
Hahaha... yeah I used to think it was an ugly colour but it's grown on me. The E46 M3 seems to pull it off but put that colour on other cars (saw an E92 M3 with that) and it looks pretty bad. Good point though, perhaps the colour plays a part in the low price.
-
Sure it's ex-Singapore and highish KMs, but at that price it's still a good deal assuming no major problems/history. The E46 M3's SMG seems to be pretty good from what I've read, seems they've made good progress from the E36 M3.
-
Nick the wiring should be just a splicing exercise - I'd say removing the lights and gluing would be harder!
-
If the price is correct and it doesn't have any major accident history or problems, this is a good deal. CF interior mods and CSL wheels (genuine or not?), and looks like it has navigation and LED tails. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-159068167.htm

Oops thanks for that, I must be getting old
-
Wow. Just.... WOW. That's almost as good as the E34 M5. Better if you consider the KMs... but who am I kidding, it ain't no M5.
-
Looks to be in great condition! How many KMs?
-
Hahaha... quote material So if a broke person bought an E30 because they had no $, they would be digging themselves a deeper hole? Seriously though they seem to be fun little cars.
-
The red 530i from Japan with FSH looks like a good deal. Can't really go wrong if it's got service history.
-
I think E30s look great, pretty classic. BUT... here's another question for you guys: Why do E30 Motorsports still go for so much secondhand? Granted, I think the M-Tech II ones (eg: Gus' old car) look bloody good. But I don't understand why they fetch the $$ they do when we've got E36 Motorsports going for way less and E46s falling into the same range. E30 Motorsports seem to fetch a decent amount regardless of mileage. I'm guessing they are much more rare? And have different running gear compared to a non-motorsport, while the E36 and E46 only have cosmetic differences?
-
Fixed I'm with the others. Also, the wheels are too modern for the E34. Just IMHO.
-
Bump Don't think you'll have trouble selling it at that price, especially with current fuel prices. Chucking some KM/L figures on might help!
-
As elmarco said, test the connector with a multimeter if you can. That said, I'd say the pump died. Happened to me last time. Replacing it is very simple - hardest part would be the clamp on the hose. Get a new clamp and new washer if you can or the new one might leak.
-
Awesome! Good luck with the sale. Are you planning to sell the CSL brakes or keeping them to return the car to stock later on?
-
I guess for me, 'big bore' conjures up images of the big fart cans boy racers have.
-
Is it me or does the submit article link on the front page not work? It just refreshes the page. Not sure if this is related to the move as well?
-
It works now Cliff. Many thanks
