Hey team, selling my E36 328i Coupe. A very good example of how good these cars can look, this one is largely original other than some Halos, sounds and H&R springs. While it is Auto, factory M-Sport, current WoF/Reg. I've spent a fair amount of time on the little things that plague these cars. Accidentally been my daily while other cars and getting work done, so 250XXXkms, however I can tell this has had a good service history. Has been on several roadtrips over the north island in the last 6 months and not missed a beat. Serviced twice in the two years I've had it, last in December, and even Cabin filter changed in 2022. Cooling System overhauled last year - All OEM parts used and entirely preemptive. Rocker cover replaced last year - no oil leaks All lights/screens working inside, including all pixels on OBC and cluster. Headlining recently done. Doorcards recently refurbished by myself, not absolutely perfect but still one of the better sets. Engine running perfectly, no vacuum leaks or misfiring. Doesn't use fluids. Air Conditioning extremely cold! All windows work. Rear quarter windows top and outer seals replaced, sunroof seal brand new. Sunroof working both ways. Doesn't leak. Paint is in excellent condition, some stone chips on front valance. Genuine 2 Piece wheels. ABS/TCS equipped, both working (recently replaced ABS computer and pump). Auto Dip Rearview Mirror New trailing arm bushes. New rear pads and rebuilt handbrake assembly (shoes and cables). All Seat Manual mechanisms working. Small mark on the rear bumper, and front valance has dragged on a couple of parks, has bowed underneath slightly. Also having 90% complete getrag manual conversion that can be arranged to come with for the right deal, can even convert prior to sale if required. Definitely one of the better examples you'll find, one you can get in and just drive. Happy to answer any questions. Looking for $12000

I am swapping my M52 motor into my E30 and was wondering if I could also swap the suspension too. I know the rear should fit just fine but as far as I've seen nobody makes front tophats to fit E36 coilovers. Is there anyone who has done what I am talking about to their E30? If so how did you do it and does anyone know of a company that might sell what I need? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hi guys. I just got an e36. It's almost 30 years old and just as many issues. If you look at the video you'll see the lights flashing. This happens when i turn the steering wheel. It has a new battery and alrernator. Kinda stuck atm with no idea where to look for the issue. And couldn't find other related posts or similar issues anywhere. The obc also does the same thing with the lights. Any ideas? Thanks Snapchat-658575966.mp4

Hi, WTB E36 M3 airbox

Well I bought a set of BBS RK500's a few months ago and have been restoring them since. I snapped one bolt when reassembling them so took it to the local wheel repair shop and they managed to crack the barrel in several places and swear it wasn't them who damaged the wheel, ignoring my proof of the barrel without cracks before I dropped them off. So unfortunately I'm on the hunt for just one 17x8 ET38 BBS RK500 Barrel. It's a long shot but I've spent way to much on these wheels to give up now. Wiling to travel across NZ

After lurking in the shadows for the last two years and checking daily to see if my favorite build threads had any updates I thought id give this a go myself! Now before I start rambling I would like to acknowledge the public hatred towards compact's, Yes they are hideous and this one is defiantly not the coolest one In NZ but its my ugly duckling and it has provided me with connections to the most amazing people in this community and wealth's of knowledge that can not learnt from YouTube..... So we begin How It Began: While Making a quick trip to Weitz industries to grab a few bits for my 130 I noticed a small little compact sitting in the corner waiting to be harvested before turning into a coke can, At the time gas prices were at an all time High and the thought of a small economical German Rear wheel drive sounded like the perfect solution! Despite being warned by Nick that the condition was unknown and it was sold strictly as a parts car I already had my heart set on It and turned a blind eye to all the negatives while convincing my partner with the positives! While not entirely convinced she said yes and I was able to drive it home😀 After making a quick stop at the gas station I drove the short 4km home loving every second of it, Despite owning multiple Bmw's and having the 130i as a daily driver I couldn't help but notice how nimble and zippy it was! For a car that was sold as a entry level 90's Bmw the quality and handling already outdid much more expensive Toyota hatchbacks 10 years Newer! Unfortunately that's pretty much the last time I got to enjoy the Efficient 1.8L. While I was to busy admiring the absolute bargain I had scored the car was pouring white smoke the entire way home, after a quick investigation it was obvious that the 257,000km M44 blew its head gasket while I was gutted this finally gave me the opportunity to do what I had been scheming since I saw the car.. A 328ti

Hey guys and gals, been noticing some 90s 3 series on TradeMe recently with massive price tags. I've had this 96 325i coupe for over 10 years now and don't use it anymore, too many kids. Just wondering if this is likely to be model whose value is increasing or not. It's an auto and badged "Alpina". Is it only the Motorsports and manuals that enthusiasts are into? Considering selling it to make room in the garage but no idea what it's worth, thought I'd ask for input here before making an ass out of myself on TM. Cheers

Hey guys have been offered a swap and unsure if its worth it, I have an e36 touring was a 318i now a 328i with msport kit, all around adjustable suspension and all certed, has been sitting for about a year but will drain tank and swap fluids and should be good to go. The swap would value the car at about 8.5k but with no one selling one recently i'm lost if its a good deal or not. Any insights?

Does anyone know the fitment of a M20 gearbox to a M52b25? Car in question is an E36 323i I've tried searching and I'm sure that its been discussed a lot before however the general consensus from what I have seen online is that an M20 will bolt up to an M52 however will need to have custom mounts made due it it sitting on an angle? I am unsure whether my current clutch or driveshaft would fit. Reason for M20 box (please correct me if I'm wrong {probably am}) is that there seem to be a lot more of them around and they are a lot cheaper than E36 box's which are slightly different? from my understanding. I very much appreciate any responses on here as my current box G220 (If I've identified it correctly) has decided it doesn't really want to be a gearbox anymore and the only box's (or rebuild cost) I have seen is $3500 and up.
