Neal 545 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 After a year of no sounds in the car managed to get into a state where I'm dialing the system in. Seem to have plenty of clarity with a kilowatt on tap. Next is to tidy up the console area.

Ahmedsinc 414 Report post Posted December 9, 2014 Lapped the zorst valves in and took delivery of my care package from Pelican. Did the valve cover gaskets on the Mrs' 530i. Surprising how an old gasket welds itself to the head, to the point that the cover cracks when trying to remove. Used spare cover, threw broken item on the junk pile. Discovered that an M50 Vanos plunger will mate up to an M54 cam. Now this opens up a few more possibilities!!

E30 325i Rag-Top 2958 Report post Posted December 15, 2014 popped a brand new semi slick. How did you manage that? Rolled the car over it, or a flat on the car... Either way it sounds like you need to use it more!

E30 325i Rag-Top 2958 Report post Posted December 21, 2014 Had to move the race car and the 'vert in the garage as part of a tidy up. Orders from the Boss to clear a path to the beer fridge so people can get to it without risk of injury. Bloody Christmas interfering with a Man's cave..
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted December 21, 2014 It could be worse, at least its only clearing a path to something you'll be using more than anyone else
E30 325i Rag-Top 2958 Report post Posted December 22, 2014 That's the point though... I can get to the beer fridge perfectly fine, from all points in the garage, without tripping over anything, so why do I need to shift stuff for other people??
