No name user 379 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 I will run it till my new alloy manifold is finished, a friend of mine is making a few of these flanges for me. thats good looking stuff dude, but do remember when the throttle body parts company from the manifold under boost you no longer have rpm control nor brakes not a nice feeling even when you key off
Garett 103 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 those new boc mig welders are pieces of sh*t. fyi. Really, our old one must have been really sh*t, because i welded up a boat trailer with it and it made me look like a pro!

Garett 103 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 Question, has anyone thought of running two injectors for each cylinder sitting next to each other running in parallel, so they spray more directly in the cylinder opposed to the one spraying on to the port splitter on the head... thorburn 121 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 Have a look at the spray pattern of your injectors. I can't see any benefit in it. Running a seperate injector further upstream can cool down the charge. e.g.

Running a seperate injector further upstream can cool down the charge. e.g. Yes the spray pattern, that may be why they went to 4 pin nozzles on the injectors two goes left two right? and after thinking about it imagine if one of your 12 injectors stopped, you would lean out one cylinder but the car will still be running on six, make it hard for diagnosing to. i think ill pass on that idea. I do however have an windscreen washer pump out of an audi allroad that allows more water to flow under vacuum. has a water in and water out and a vac in, now surely we could do something with that, maybe intercooler water sprayer plumed into a vac from the exhaust or before the turbo? polley 916 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 What ever is cheapest / easyiest to find. If you're like any other drifter you will just smash it off anyway.
Ace Of Spades 51 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 Deffintly M3 but your drifting it so maybe the cheapest and easiest to repair??
Lucan 196 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) M3, no question. Aftermarket is Fiberglass? Edited October 29, 2012 by Lucan
Garett 103 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 Aftermarket is a standard bumper with fiberglass skirt, i have only one of them. ive managed to dig up 3 M3 rear bumpers from under the mountin of bumpers we have here at work, so i guess M3 is going to be the go, cheers. Garett 103 Report post Posted November 3, 2012 Done a lil bit more work on the car today, i got the heat shields underneath all fitted and set the height on my suspension at the front, pain in the ass putting a can on and off a hoist when its low.. also i made up 18 pin plug that allows me to disconnect everything in the front panel so i wont need to go and unplug every light and sensor and what not if and when i take the engine out through the front, just the one. On another note, if you didn't already know the E46 seats bolt into the E36 and the are a hell of a lot nicer and more comfy..
