Get ready for a new, non M3 high: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-bmw-alpina-b6-2-8l/

Already $100k USD with six days to go!

Much, much rarer than a M3. Shame it's just never really been used, but that's reflected in the condition.

One expensive sewing machine. 22k doesn't get you the front lip option either.

Not sure I see the value here... really?

what's with the lazy resprays on red cars? Both this and the iS have had the black stonechip on the rockers and rear valance sprayed over.

Hmm, dunno about that. I don’t think ALL E30s has the black lower sections ex-factory. I’m 99% sure my vert didn’t, looks like it was body colour over the stone chip / underwear.

I recall it being an option to have the lower sections painted body colour etc.

Black lower sections are povo spec.

Well, it'll certainly be easier to find a better condition passenger seat...

I always liked the blue over blue option 😎

Exchange rate, shipping, GST, etc would see this car at mid $50's landed in NZ.  And then compliance on top of that and who knows what gremlins could be hiding there!  I would fully expect to have $60k nzd into this car with a WoF and rego in NZ.

It's up to you to figure out whether or not that number is good enough for this car.

Unless someone who’s living in Aus buys it, keeps it for a year and then moves to Nz.  It will be about $2-3k for shipping and compliance provided the car is in sound condition.

Just seen an absolutely mint, very early 320i facelift, 4 door manual offered for sale. €8500.

Bit out of the way for easy collection, sadly. It's in Lithuania.

Well I guess the countless times I left my number on the windshield in the NW Remuera car park didn't pan out...

Photos are near Wynyard Quarter, but I'm guessing the current location gives a clue as to the current owner.

Beautiful, but $48k?

That's low mileage, special edition E90 M3 money.

Yeah little steep but gotta start high!

It’s similar money that absolutely lovely refurbished silver Tech2 M325i finally sold for.
