I can't find one, but is there a build thread? I was just thinking that chucking an entire E90 M3 worth of bits in the E87 (subframes and all) would be more interesting than buying a 1M.

I moved it for a wash today and noticed oil on the ground.   I'll get it on the hoist later this week to see what's going on before anyone gets too excited.

The rain over the last couple of weeks has revealed a pretty decent water leak into the passenger footwell of my 130i 😞 

Any tips of where to look? I can't see anything running in around the door, the plastic trim and carpet that runs up to the door is all dry, but up where you'd rest your feet is soaked! No sunroof so it's not that usual culprit. Could it be windscreen seals? Any tips from people who've had similar would be much appreciated!

blocked skuttle panel drains,(leaves etc) then floods through the air intake for the blower fan 

runs down through the blower fan

straight over the fuse box and body modules

also if window regs are not working and door card membranes ripped

There's a water proof membrane on the door that's a common-ish failure. Even if it's dry below, if you can't find anything elsewhere it would be worth looking at. 

Otherwise as above the drains below the windscreen can get blocked by leaves and allow water to enter through the air duct system

Over the weekend I cleared out the skuttle panel drains, gave the door car membrane a good going over to make sure it was sealed, and replaced the door card clips with the ones with the foam seal. Perfect timing for the rain that came on Monday and no water seemed to come in, so hopefully that's all solved! Thanks for the tips Brent and Dan.

I'm new to Bmw's I have just bought a 130i from HellBM 2 days ago it already has a muffler delete and a 135i front bumper, i'm looking at ordering a set of halo lights. what should I do next? Wheels are on my list but they aren't priority at the moment.

Halo lights? Xenons you mean? Its not quite as simple as change the lights unfortunately.

Not really, will need xenon headlights, ballasts, wiring and either coding the FRM (if the FRM supports it) or a new FRM and getting it coded to your vehicle. Its doable, and documented, but its not plug and play.
