gjm 3258 Report post Posted July 18, 2020 Of course it's overpriced. Not in the least uncommon. Most E30s are overpriced. Pretty much anything with a manual gearbox attracts higher pricetags than might be deemed sensible. This one is a little more unusual being a 'vert, NZ new, and low kms. No mention of service history though, and you'd have to expect that to be full, complete and up to date. But yes - expensive.
M3AN 4016 Report post Posted July 18, 2020 The museum piece might be worth that. The car isn't.
hqstu 780 Report post Posted July 18, 2020 You'd halve that and then a bit more.. it even has an "automatic" transmission according to dealer...

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted July 18, 2020 Believe it or not that SMG badge was standard up until about '03 when BMW realised how stupid it looks. If they're genuine CSL wheels (probably not) they're worth a lot, but not $30k.

Sammo 2538 Report post Posted July 20, 2020 SMG Verts are the least valuable E46 M3s in the US.
